TheSly, I think your best bet is to just update from the open wiiflow mod googlecode site. It has all the revisions.
Just a couple ideas I'll throw out there
1 Booklets for emulators. Like if you had a booklet in a .cbr or .zip it could pop up where the banners do click on it and read it. Wouldn't that be cool....
2 a code to get to movies that are not kid friendly. Ie I press uuddlrlr21 and boom a video source comes up that's inaccessible any other way. To put it another way Konami code straight to my spankware.
Wiiflow rox
1 - As in comic files? there was a homebrew comic reader, can't recall the name. Something to indicate the
kind of graphics you get from an emulated system (or even a game!) would be cool, and a banner-something for game metadata/text.
2 - I reckon custom, password lockable, app folders is a great idea. Point a 'homebrew' source menu entry at a folder other than /apps. You could have a separate install of your media player of choice with the config file pointing at...custom folders...You could also separate your homebrew games from your applications, hide "They Do Not Die" from your 2-year-old, etc...
Password locking - might be a big ask - dunno?.
There's been a lot of requests around child locking and simplification generally, it's certainly becoming an issue round my gaff, so I was wondering if anyone had more ideas about how that might work?
I suppose the the ultimate ideal would be a foolproof - can't balls it up mode, and a password locked admin/setup (play with settings
) mode.
I had a 4.5 fantasy request thread in my sig, I must've dropped it somewhere...
EDIT: Just a thought, but if someone with the emu title in-game video database just did a batch screengrab of one frame, that'd be something wiiflow could handle - i.e.
- a per-game screengrab for emugames instead of a banner?
