Hacking WiiU First Official MSX Virtual Console, possible ROM injection

I never owned MSX but i mean there is emulators i can try, only games i ever tried was metal gear 1 and 2 since is on Metal gear solid HD collection on ps3 and vita.

Is all the games Japanese only cause i won't be able to play those if no english language is done. Nor i know any to begin with for someone who never owned one, besides some konami games.

The MSX was brought out in Europe and USA so English roms are out there if you look for them sadly you won't find many as the machine failed miserably in America and had only a little bit of success in Europe. Also a lot of the Japanese msx games are arcade ports and don't use a lot of Japanese in them so are still very playable if you don't know Japanese.

there are 2 roms (that i know off) in jap nintendo store. nemesis and goemon

i used the goemon base to inject games.

i noticed that i can't get goonies working.

so i tried with nemesis base and it worked, so , who want to make inject shall try with the 2 different bases.



here's some help, some games need a reset to work.

using ZR you reach this menu

top left setting tv picture
top right setting gamepad picture
middle line , save and open states
botton right reset
bottom left new menu

you have to touch the gamepad in the middle to continue

setting the buttons of the gamepad, allow F1...F10 and joystick buttons, but not 1,2,3 .... unfortunatly, some games need to strike the numbers.

you have to get nuspacker too with common key !
the 2 base roms can be taken with usb helper in jap nin store
the msx roms could be here i think they are now abandonware , but google helps
