Hacking Discussion Will the TX Modchip (with all features) also be 100% compatible with 5.1.0.

I have a question regarding the topic given in the title, I read everywhere that the TX modchip is possible on all FW (2.0.0 - 5.0.2) and on it homebrews (.nro format?) are also possible. What about FW 5.1.0? Since the HBChannel was blocked on the latest FW, the same applies to the HomebrewChannal from TX, unless TX has developed its own homebrew access?

It can’t be patched , software wise atleast...and there’s a difference between “blocked” and the homebrew launcher needing a update

The question I'm more likely to ask, is: Whether TX have developed their own HBC for their OS?
Will SX OS use the same HBC as Atmosphere? Can they do that?

SX OS has a way of launching homebrew, that's for sure.

TX is possible on all firmware versions including any future firmware releases. HBL will also work on most recent firmware. It's just a matter of giving developers time to make changes.

TX says yes its compatible with 5.1.0

They just updated their site to say that it will support ALL firmware updates. So there's no limit and they are confident about this.

Support on V5.1.0, don't worry, but if you are not updating yet, better not do that.
