Hello all! Hope you all are doing well. Despite the craziness in the world.

Beta Version 0.16

download the test build.

Notes;
- tracks are now 256 blocks long (I can make them longer but it depends on what people want)
- when you reach the red section at end of the track the track is complete and there is a menu to continue to the next section of he track
- I added a player score at the top left of the screen. (but there is no way to reset it currently)
- I think I will be putting in the menu and difficulties next. When this is in place there will be a way to restart.
- I doubled the amount of lines used to render the track so now it looks like arrows, lol.

It works but I think you need to set up a virtual SD card so that the music and the models load. Other wise it just plays in silence.

Current control setup;
there is a button is used for gas, one that changes the camera angle and one that changes the level. It depends on the controller you are using so play around with it until you figure it out. For example Z on the gamecube controller changes the persective while "select/-" does it on the other controllers.

This weekend I am working on the main menu, pause menu and the ability to select/change difficulty. I'll need these menus to test the full gameplay loop: starting, dieing, pausing and restarting.

what makes it fun? what camera angle did you use? Should I add traffic? Is the track length too short or should I make it longer?

I am gonna work on the difficulties next so that they are easy tracks and hard tracks full of deep corners. So assume the current tracks are normal difficulty.

In the current build I added/fixed some of the menus especially the camera menu. Difficulty menu does not do anything yet. And fixed the game loop so that when you die you go back to the start screen. Pausing the game works, quit and going to the next track works. I also need to put a count down (3,2,1, go) before the race begins.
