Xbox 20th anniversary event - 70 new backwards compatible games, Halo Infinite multiplayer beta launches today

Happy 20th birthday, Xbox! It's been two decades since the Xbox launched, and Microsoft will be celebrating the milestone with an anniversary livestream. The event will be a look back at all the accomplishments the brand has made throughout the years, but with some mysterious patches arriving for some older Xbox 360 titles, there might be some surprises in store. We'll be covering the event, which goes live in 5, so stay tuned to the live coverage!

It begins with the reveal of a six-part documentary series about how the Xbox came to be. It goes on to the launch of the 360 and the impact of the RROD.

More 70 original Xbox and 360 games are being added to Series X|S backwards compatibility.

These include Otogi, the FEAR franchise, Max Payne, NIER, and more.

Original Xbox games get 4x resolution on Series X, 3x on the Series S, and 2x on the One.

FPS Boost has been added to 11 newly added games, which now play 60fps. 26 existing games also get better framerates, with Fallout New Vegas, Alan Wake, and Sonic Generations and more.

New is the Paramount+ exclusive Halo TV show. Launches next year.

Halo Infinite's online multiplayer is launching today ahead of its launch on December 8th.

Here is a list of the games.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
