My own one (shameless advertisement). :creep:
Nah, actually I'm not really watching my own videos (I mean, I already produced them). I'd rather stick to stuff like Silvagunner and a few gaming-related channels that offer background information about my favourite games.

Is there anything about "drawbacks" the scene should be aware of?

Edit: Oops. Didn't actually want to quote my own post instead of editing it.

Wow, only took them, what, 18 months to release it? Better late than never.

That's actually rather impressive compared to what multimedia on the PS4 was like when it launched. The PS3 had pretty much everything and they started from zero with the PS4.
And it's not even like the Switch was marketed to be a multimedia console (even though it would be a good fit if you take its rather large screen into account).

No, but it should have been available as the Wii and Wii U had YouTube. Makes no sense to delay it, not that hard to port YT to ARM.

Objection!
Of course it makes sense from a security point of view. I know, that's not what you consider your business, but that's just logical for a company to do.
If that app would eventually serve as an entrypoint, that would be enough of a reason to restrain from supporting Youtube on a future console. Or did you forget why there's no easily available browser on the Switch?

I think it's still a half-assed excuse. There's no logical explanation for a lack of Netflix or Prime, either, so yeah. Kinda stupid IMO.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
