oh are those the ones you had to jump though liker 3 captcha to download anything? yeah they wont be missed. :P
What captcha? Zippy didn't use captcha services
It seems they are not aware that their site is banned in many countries. I can't connect with their server at all in Germany, France, and some other Western Europe countries via mobile network.

Nope. You needed 2 clicks. One for hidden popup and one for actual download.
Isn't 1fichier banned in a bunch of countries too?

Yeah, I believe 1Fichier is one of the file hosting sites that never worked in the US. At least I remember my attempts to use it being terrible, either it straight up didn't work here, or downloaded so incredibly slow that it wasn't worth it, can't recall which off hand, but definitely one of those two scenarios. Sounds like it might have been a better file hosting site in other parts of the world though.

Currently PS4 warez are mainly uploaded to Zippyshare and 1Fichier, I am sure at least some backports are gonna be lost in the process, since sometimes those are only uploaded to Zippyshare.

Games usually go to both services, so nothing to really worry about.

offtopic seems 1f is taking legal heat as well for turning a blind eye for so long on top of archives current court case (started on the 20th) seems like companies are going all in now shame considering the likes of nintendo shutting down 3DS/WiiU eshops

I guess geoblocking users can do that to your visitor numbers. ZS was the only filesharing site that I needed a VPN for.

You need them for most file sharing sites due to idiotic speed limits. VPNs often bypass them.

Never had an issue with 1fichier. Though currently my favourite is download.gg because like zippyshare it doesn't have a cooldown
You mean, other than its horrendously slow, throttled speeds and once-an-hour downloads?

Issue related to geolocking... Did I really need to point this out?
...geolocking means it literally cannot be accessed due to location. A region block.
Your sarcastic zinger fell flatter than your attempt to panhandle from your signature.

One goes away, a hundred come, who's next?
Have any really came since though? There's almost no real file sharing site anymore even for legitimate purposes. You're lucky if Mediafire retains a LEGAL file for longer than a week or if it even bothers to accept an upload. But at least Mediafire doesn't throttle speeds to such a ludicrous degree that you'd be better off recreating the file yourself.

Once Google Drive fixes the student account exploit, what's left?

They are certainly aware as its actually Zippyshare themselves who blocked the UK and various European countries for some reason: https://torrentfreak.com/zippyshare-is-blocked-for-uk-visitors-but-why-190315

and for 1fichier, this hoster works together with the law of europe police.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
