Let me begin by saying I never thought Nintendo would continue the Adv. Wars IP. This was the game that originally got me hooked on video games in the first place, even though I started with Pong. I have the original books/guides for the GBA games from Nintendo Power to this day. From that I got hooked on Fire Emblem, then Golden Sun... At first glance, I thought the price was a bit high, but considering there are 2 whole games and what they had to redo? not, not high at all. I just hope they release a physical version.
Is it my imagination or is the cartoon art/cut scenes look like they were rendered/created by the artists over at Chuckle Fish / WarGroove?
At a quick glance, it reminded me of a mix-up of Battalion Wars, Tiny Metal, and War Groove.
I noted that even A.W. 2 Black Hole had the ability to create maps and share them, why not the switch?
Apparently, I just purchased my 1st 1Tb sdxc card just in time. Nintendo was doing well before, but now they are crushing it with the variety of games and [sales] prices. My already severely anemic wallet has just been moved to intensive care. Of the 400+ games on my wish list, the 75 + must-have games all went on sale for the next 6 days only, to be followed by titles I have been waiting forever for, and never knew were headed this way until just this last month.
Many of these games will be allowed to pass, as there just isn't enough time to play them all during the lifetime of this console... for me. As a reference, I'm still not 1/2 way through LoZ BoTW. I believe in getting my money's worth out of a game, even if I don't 100% them all. My backlog has become a back tree, trying to prevent it from becoming a forest.
I have decided Nintendo should change the name from the Switch to the Nintendo 'Crushinator'.
Some games take me longer as I may not get the rhythm that the game creator expected the game to be played...such as 1) craft, 2) defend 3) loot 4) discover repeat. not all game rhythms are as obvious to everyone as they might be to you. Especially if you have never played that game or type before, or the devs recreate the game [style] such as Fire Emblem Three Houses.
This one well-known game it took me a long time to figure out which menu was for the campaign and which was for the multiplayer, and how to play a multiplayer game, solo. A small set of instructions or guides would go a long way to getting into a game quickly. Although this wasn't the game I had in mind when writing this comment... Xenoblade Chronicles 2 I'm looking squarely at YOU.

PS before anyone starts jumping on me for any details that I may have misquoted, I am dealing with extreme sleep deprivation (less than 2 hrs deep sleep nightly.) situation that drs. can't seem to solve, which often affects my cognitive functions/causes me to miswrite/speak details and do stuff that just seems out in the left field. Specifically, the problem is extreme sleepwalking.
