GBAtemp Tour 08: L.A. Meet-up?

We've received several requests for a meet-up in Los Angeles :)

So, we'll be there between April 28th (probably late afternoon/evening) till May 2nd (departing at 8:30 am... *yawn*)

So that leaves us:
- April 28th evening
- April 29th all day
- April 30th we're going to Las Vegas on that day.
- May 1st all day


nintendofreak and IxthusTiger have already contacted us.
Who else is interested? :yayds:

And another question: can anyone recommend anything to do in L.A. ?
I think the only thing we know we want to see for now is the big HOLLYWOOD sign on that hill :P

What to do in L.A.?
You need to visit a place called Compton.
There are tons of great people there and awesome attractions, from what I hear.

The Chinese manns theater? You'll know what im talking about (maybe) when you see the pic:

The street itself is kinda like the Vegas "stip" Down Hollywood blvd

Maybe you could try going to an arcade or something...I dont know. I've only been in LA since I Was a kid and I slept through most of it as we were driving through...

I am around and in los angeles area...

if you guys are looking to meet-up someplace for grub you cannot really get any place else, try:
"Tommy's World Famous Burgers" - http://www.originaltommys.com/
or
"In-N-Out Burger" - http://www.in-n-out.com/
( Shhh, they also have a secret menu http://www.in-n-out.com/secretmenu.asp )


EDIT: Most "Tommy's" are open 24/7, and "In-N-Out" is open usually until 12:30 on the week days and 1:30 on the weekends

oh yeah also, you guys gotta hit-up a Hooters also (and not the one in Hollywood or Long Beach - thats where hooters girls are sent to die). Santa Monica Hooters has some nice California Girls. Pasadena and Burbank Hooters are also very well stocked in the attractive girls (on of the Pasadena girls was on Playboy TV a few times... I'm just say'n). sorry for the double-post

you all need to go to the echoplex on Tuesday night, the 29th in echo park, from 9-2am.

18+ and free, but I sweat to god it will be the hippest coolest thing you can do while you're in la, and its rarely free and you'll probably see a celebrity so take advantage why you're here

yeah, dan deacon, Hollywood holt, and erol alkin are playing, its free but being la its gonna be a good cultural experience for those who arent from here
