I'm so fucking done with school.

And it feels great : )

I sent in my last English(literature not langauge) essay in, and fixed my incomplete Research report. I barely passed Geometry, but I shouldn't have to touch the cursed subject again. I have to wait for my grades to come in, and for my mom to send in my independent studies. After that I should get my diploma.

For doing all years of high school online, I think I'm rather greatfull. there was no bullying from outside forces, Though I did miss Prom and Home coming, I didn't kill myself, which I guess levels itself out. IDK what I'm gonna do now though, I want to build some shit I've been planning for a while now, so there's that I guess. but college wise I have no clue tbh. I want to take some Community college course to find out what I want to do. If the classes are effective I'll also have more knowledge.

I kinda want to stream building stuff, atleast the modeling of cases, would anyone bee interested? ;-) Also maybe smash when I get a capture card.

But now I am in Graduation limbo cause my moma won't let me do shizzle until I get the email for my certificate.

Never got the thing for splitting subjects up like that, and don't know what geometry in turn entails for you (personally I quite like it but engineering drawing is a hobby so eh). That said if it was based upon learning formulas and not gaining an appreciation for what they do, how they related and what use they are out in the world (or imaginary space if you fancy that) I can see disliking it.

" Though I did miss Prom and Home coming, I didn't kill myself"
Sounds like 3 good things there in addition to the others.

I'm going to ask if there's material things you want. If you do, then get a job and focus on that first and move out before going to college. Nothing worse than being stuck in debt and, at least in the current situation, also stuck at a dead end job from which I wanted to leave a long time ago until I was a dumbass enough to try and get with a girl who'd rather lie than be straight up about her opinion about yours truly and still calls herself a "good" person.

This way, you can be truly independent and have full control of your life. Also, you get more work experience that employers will want to see as well as a network of references!

@FAST6191 engineering drawing is something I do for a hobby somewhat. The main source material for my geometry focused primarily on proofs, which I'm pretty sure one of my counselors said you don't even use irl, or when becoming a math nerd. I get geometry, and how stuff like that works, but I had a hard time articulating it with proofs.

TBH, I just wanted to go with my friend, but couldn't cause shiz. But other than that yeah, I agree ftmp

@Silent_Gunner Oh totally. I need a job anyways to pay for parts for projects, also I kind of want a Les Paul (another guitar). I'm debating on whether or not working right now, but during the summer I plan to work then, so it's just a question of when I'm starting.
Thanks for the Advice!

Congratulations. High School online at home is the best ever than in school because of bullying, hatred, and many more. For prom and homecoming, I know what you mean but those can be a problem as well. Fighting, drinking, drugs, and bullying as well. School itself is the CRUELEST in the world. I wouldn't let my kids go to school like that. I would be happy for them to stay at home and home schooling but they can enjoy to be around his age at playground while I watch them and something like that. The world is beautiful but most human are not beautiful. Disgusting human being scums and they are MONSTERS. Really. Animals are the amazing and we should learn from animals.

By the way, my friend graduated from College and he got his major in degree and mails to any states in America for his job. He never got reposed for about 4 years then finally in Texas hired him as substitute teacher. He was very disappointment because his major decree was computer graphics (I am not sure what it called). And he had to accept it and moved to Texas to be a substitute teacher and he got 2nd job for other better than nothing. He said waste went to college for 4 years that cost him but he didn't paid for it because of his income so financial aid helped him out and applied for job for other 4 years.. nothing. Waste. Proof: College is not the answer to everything. Be careful with what your major you are looking for. Some are not hired you at all.

@azoreseuropa Stories like what you described are why I essentially decided to say, "fuck college" and focus more on getting out of my parents' house. Unfortunately, due to debt and the current situation (which, for what its worth, seems to be improving since the toilet paper aisle at my store didn't get raided this weekend AFAIK. Who knows, it might've got raided yesterday as I don't work Sundays), that part of the plan has been postponed to at least next year.

At the very least, I haven't had to put up with them forcing me to go to church and to be around people of whom I share little in common with throughout all of this!

They are lumping that under geometry? Bold move there. Though I do wonder if they taught it well, and seeing various courses and having had to explain things to reasonably bright people I doubt it. Taught properly the proofs in turn yield further concepts, help with variants, when combining things and and allow you to derive (sometimes literally) from other pieces of data, also helps when it comes to proofs in things where you can't have fun with scissors, card and wire if you absolutely had to.

Granted it helps for stuff like

Also while that is a 20 minute video rather than a few hours to properly explore things it might also be said to be a start/preview of what something being done properly looks like.

Personally, I never went to any school dances throughout my entire high school life at an Australian boys-only Jesuit school closely related to another boys-only Jesuit(?) school nicknamed after kangaroo infants and to one or two girls-only schools.

Never was interested in dating, due to my final primary school (public) year having two female students and a female teacher bullying the hell out of me (from what my Mum tells me, that bitch of a teacher had no patience for my eccentricities, and did bugger all to make me comfortable in class, and those two girls were utterly horrid), and that resentment towards the so-called "fairer sex" continuing into my years at that Jesuit school (and heck, even now that festering disgust and loathing remains). So I always made excuses to avoid going to dances and the like. Wouldn't have had the stamina anyway, for actual dancing, since I've never been one for sports or exercise.

So I can relate to the "missing prom and homecoming" thing, to a degree (as far as I'm aware, New South Wales doesn't have those particular events), but in my eyes that's a damned good thing.
