Absolutely gorgeous. I played this game constantly throughout 2018, 2019 and the first half of 2020, have 100%'ed both the Octo Expansion and base game story, reached rank X in the two competitive modes I don't absolutely, completely despise, and I took a long break from the game, but I'm thinking about getting back into it. I played a match earlier today and juked around someone with a roller, who proceeded to splash it in front of them, and splat me, directly behind them. I took a clip of it.

I also seem to get obliterated by people with chargers even when they're.. Not aiming at me. It's certainly not an issue with my connection, I don't have such a problem on any other online competitive game, and I certainly don't remember it being this bad last time I played. Has this been an issue for you?

Multiplayer sucks, especially when there's a bullshit clearly-unnecessary annual paywall in the way - so you're literally paying for this crap.

Stick with singleplayer; much less frustration, and it's (hopefully...) a one-time payment.

I know, right Scott? Every match almost, like 9/10 times, I get some paste-eater that just stands around at spawn, looking at the ground for most, if not the entire match... And it's a 50/50 change if they go *poof* or not.

This is pretty normal now with team based multiplayer games, the frequency is mainly to do with nintendo's inaction against people constantly throwing games.

Is cheating still a problem? I remember someone hacked the leaderboards to mock nintendo and they took a long time to remove it.
