I just built a proper light box from crafting supplies.

Due to the high prices of a proper light box for the size I needed, I resorted to building my own for dirt cheap using craft supplies. (Foam board, hot glue, tagboard, and a spare LED cabinet light I had in the garage.) I gotta say, it blows away my expectations. I'll get a proper light ring eventually, but this works for now.

I have to say I really don't understand your passion for everything Gameboy, but I admire all the effort you put into this. To me the Gameboy served it's purpose long ago.. No games on the system will ever make me turn back on my old Gameboys, but I did have a lot of fun with them. If there's ever the odd game I want to relive a bit, I'll just emulate it, play for the 15 minutes that the appeal will last, and be done with it.

But keep it up! It's always inspiring to see the passion people have. And your creations look good!

My Gameboys in my childhood were my favorite passtime, and I played TONS of the different games over the years... But I never really ever stopped playing them, unlike most people. And Gameboy modding is exploding right now with new screen mods coming out, better shells to accommodate them, and cool new power filters. It's exciting to build and mod them for me. Especially now that building and selling modded Gameboys is prettymuch my primary income. So having a light box to take high-quality photos is a must, and a good cheap investment to boost my chances of a sale. (I'm also a HUGE D.I.Y. person, so there's that too...)

Dead Rising references. You can craft weapons out of various tools and stuff. Think MacGyver meets Resident Evil meets Dawn of the Dead.

Oh. I've only played a bit of the first game on the 360 about 10 years ago, but I don't remember character names and shit. :P

You can definitely save a lot of money doing things yourself! This is a proof of that. These are top-notch results! :D
