MediCat VHD v21.06 has just been released!

I was unaware that I had accidentally uploaded an old, early, and unfinished build of MediCat VHD v21H2 the other day, and for that I apologize. BUT! I'm about to make it up to you all...

I just spent the entire morning and afternoon cranking out the first-ever Windows 11 build of MediCat VHD!
That's right, no typos here. This build is based on Windows 11 Dev Build 21996.1, and you get to taste it here and now!

You can find it HERE.

-I've added in all the VC++ Redistributables (2005 - 2019), as well as Dot Net Framework v6.0.0 Preview 5.
-Jayro's Toolbox is now apinned shortcut in the Start Menu, as seen in the last 2 screenshots.
-It's 30GB unzipped, since many users (including myself) found ourselves running out of space quickly. Only 8GB zipped to download, and in a single zip file to make it easy to create.
-Instructions are included in the torrent, along with the changelog that goes into greater depth.

Anyways, I hope you like it.

Im not sure if its corrupt or if it supposed to look like this but Ill post a picture of it in the discord help-here channel when I get a chance. @Jayro

I goofed the other day, and accidentally uploaded an early build instead of the completed build, but I've fixed it. Re-read the OP here, and you'll see that I've made it up to you all.

I have a HP laptop that uses BitLocker so secure boot is enabled. How do I boot to Meidcat USB as it always gives me an error about not being secured or key is not correct. I can't remember the exact error right now.

I disable secure boot, always. It causes me more problems than it helps.

I thought I needed to enable secure boot if I wanted to use BitLocker but that was not true.

It's a portable installation of Windows that you can boot on any 64-bit PC, essentially. It keeps the settings because the PC doesn't know the difference between a VHD and a real harddisk.

Do I just copy this file [UEFI]_MediCat_VHD_&DW.vhd to my ventoy drive? I keep getting the message in Ventoy that there's no ISO to boot.

You also need to copy the ventoy_vhdboot.img into your ventoy folder, and it will show up.

I do not see the ventoy_vhdboot.img file in the torrent. Only the [UEFI]_MediCat_VHD_&DW.vhd file is inside the MediCat_VHD.zip

@Jayro I got it to boot now but my mouse on my HP laptop still doesn't work in Windows but my keyboard does work though.

What the heck does "God Mode" do? Sounds...powerful.
And how do you get that "SYSTEM" bubble, in the top-right?

@kublai You'd have to add that yourself, there are portable builds out there that would work fine. MediCat VHD is just a foundation to a house, it's up to you to build the house of your dreams. ;)
