Jailbreaking spree

Welp I'm officially insane /s

I found my iPod Touch 4th Generation and my dad gave me his old iPhone 4. He wants me to jailbreak his phone and I want to jailbreak my old iPod. This is the 2nd and 3rd device I hacked this month. Anyways, I find jailbreaking iOS devices fun because it can be one click, or it can be millions of required files.

@aykay55 by imitation, I meant games and apps that copy each other.
They're available on both OSes and your point is also applicable to Apple's App Store (like the ton-load of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale clones).

As for the security updates, no, they're one and the same as iOS updates.
Security updates are bundled with iOS updates unless you mean MacOS which is comparable to Windows and they both can update parts of the OS (namely security) without need for a full firmware update.
As of Android Nougat (7.0), many parts of the OS were made into updatable bundles from the Play Store to make formware/OS updates easier on manufacturers and dependant solely on Google ~ faster updates for the end user.
