New image resizing feature

Large images on the forums & portal will now be resized using Highslide, an amazing script that does plenty of things.
Please do a full refresh in your browser (Ctrl+F5) if you can't see the changes.
Here are some photos I've taken near where I live, in France.

Neat stuff: when the image pops up, press the left or right arrow key to view the next or previous image (works like a gallery).
I love it!

Whoa, cool, nice done Costello ;)
You can even drag the images all over the screen :O

A. Kickass new way of viewing photos. VERY fucking cool.

B. Dude, those are amazing pics. It kinda looks like you live in the middle of nowhere (in the best of ways).

Love it. I only wish there was a way (in all image resizing features, not just this one) to make it so the image doesn't load gigantic to begin with. When I first loaded this page those images stretched the screen every whichway until they were done loading. At which point they shrank down. But until then, it was a problem.

Well, IPB could set width and height for each image posted, but there's so many ways that could go wrong...

Great, great feature. I was sick and tired of being forced to open a new window each time I wanted to view an image in its original size. Thanks, Costello!

The new feature is definitely cool. It somewhat reminds me of itouch for some reason haha

Wow, those pictures look amazing. I never realised France was so pretty. Feature makes viewing pictures alot better but I side with Ace, wishing there was way it was immediately resized rather than load then resize.

Oooh, that's neat. The only drawback is naturally that the pictures have to fully load which can take a little while, especially for those of us with slow connections. At least this works better than what's already in place here.

Kinda reminds me of a life lesson in the movie "Bronx Tale". Guy1 owes another, guy2 $10 and the guy2 keeps chasing guy1 around the city trying to get his money back, till someone tells him, "stop, you got off easy, its only $10. That guy will never bother you again or ask you for money again, so take it as a win."

Insurance is a thing adults have to blow off
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Insurance is one those things you pay all your life for, no questions asked, all is fine, they take your money. And as soon as you make a claim or something happens, they never want to payout or help, just fight you on everything if it cost them any of your money.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I've never had a car accident, but I bet I've paid thousands/ million into car insurance that ill never see a dime of prob. Is crazy, but its the law.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
When you buy a new car, or have a bank loan on it, you have to have full coverage, but yea its a racket
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
u guys on crack? I got in auto accident and insurance paid $6500 to fix my car. they don't pay? whatever.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But think about how much you have paid them over the years, prob way more than 6500, but that's life, not like we have a choice. Gotta have to cover your ass.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
You probably drive some fancy dandy electric car that the salesman told you would get you bitches
