rip my orange new 2DS XL's L button

now I regret not accepting the SX Core.
i first noticed it while just starting chibi robo clean sweep (still a great game). now I HAVE to get another New 2DS XL or an SX Core, and neither will be fun. also, I'm unable to get a tri-wing screwdriver.

Method 1: Clean button(s) → Be careful not to loose or break any of the tiny parts. I'm not kidding. These things are tiny.
Method 2: Solder in new button(s)

Don't blow into the buttons. Moisture may temporary make them work again but even very small amounts of saliva will lead to further corrosion and can damage other parts as well.

A triwing screwdriver is a lot cheaper than another N2DSXL and they are not hard to find.
When opening the N2DSXL be super careful. I broke off the notch of the volume slider when separating the two case parts of a unit with broken top screen I plan to fix eventually. Refer to ifixit guide.

I can't emphasize this enough: Be mega careful! N2DSXL breaks easily and repairability is much worse than on 3DS models.
