Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (NGC)

loln00b. The controls are just fine, it's "Shadow The Hedgehog" where they butchered them. They just take some time and skill to master.

Well it's Sonic Adventure so yeah, it's probably bad.

I doubt people actually enjoy Sonic Adventure games. You talk to someone who played Sonic Adventure (and it's ALWAYS on the Gamecube) and they go "IT'S SO NOSTALGIC". They never say it's good or anything, it's just "nostalgic".

I'd rather play a good Sonic platformer, or for that matter, a good platformer. To a certain point Sonic games just became trial-and-error running, where you move so fast and then hit something that slows you down, so "mastering" levels just involves memorizing retarded jumps. If I wanted to play the games for the spectacle I'd play a more cinematic platformer like Alice: Madness Returns and I'd at least play it on a fucking HD platform.

That being said, I played Sonic Colors and it was alright but probably the worst platformer I played this gen outside of like... New Super Mario Bros Wii since it was really bland.

I've never played a Sonic Adventure game, I've read about them and heard some of the OST and it seems somewhat interesting but since I don't own and never did a Dreamcast, I was never able to play them.

Maybe if I find a good working emulator I might try it. =S

That's pretty true.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle certainly hasn't aged well, compared to say, Super Mario 64 or other entries into 3D.
But it's a hell of a lot more playable than Sonic Adventure was.

It's still an alright game but whilst the controls themselves are okay, it's the engine that's not so okay.

i really miss this game i play it from time to time was thinking about bringing it to my clients house and just wasting my work shift playing it :P

i thought it was the last best sonic game ever made and yeah the controls kinda suck but i don't mind em
