They use different methods to achieve almost the same functionality.

While Priiloader is good, BootMii is better and will be able to recover from certain bricks Priiloader can't.

Yes and no.

Bootmii as Boot2 can be used as anti-brick protection on it’s own, Bootmii as IOS requires other software to load it e.g. Priiloader and the HBC.

As for TC‘s question, AFAIK from what I’ve read, Dolphin doesn’t emulate the Wii accurately enough to run Bootmii.

So THAT is the Reason Why It Can't Run BootMii, But Can Run Priiloader? I Mean, It Does Emulate the Wii Accurately Enough to Play Games (Disc Channel Games, WiiWare, VC, etc.), But Not Accurately Enough to Run BootMii? Understandable, But Quite Confusing.

It's more so because of how they load.
Dolphin doesn't exactly emulate the boot process of the Wii. It doesn't go through Boot1 and Boot2 procedure, but rather immediately tries to run the game or the home menu.
BootMii lives in Boot2, something Dolphin doesn't emulate, as such it doesn't know how to handle it.
Priiloader is quite literally the system menu. Or rather, it replaces it with itself and then chain loads the system menu if there is no action from the user to trigger it. As such, for Dolphin, it's just the system menu, so it launches it normally.

Boot2 is Something That Dolphin Doesn't Emulate?

Fair Enough.
But Hey, At Least We Can Import a BootMii NAND Backup, Right?
