Nintendo have given us the first glimpse at the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie with a poster showcasing Mario, who is surrounded by Toad's looking up at Peach's castle which adorns the top of a very Mario-esque rounded hill off in the distance.

The Untitled Mario film which is releasing in April 2023 is currently in the works by Illumination who were noticeably responsible for the Despicable Me movies.

This comes alongside an announcement for an upcoming Nintendo Direct that will be focusing on the The Super Mario Bros. Movie and is scheduled for this Thursday - 1:05 p.m. PT / 20:05 GMT.

Obviously a little late to say this (the Direct is like an hour and a half away lmao), but there has been some more leaked promo material from McDonalds that include the designs for Peach and the main Toad character, plus the logo:

Their designs actually kind of remind me of their N64 era (1996-2001) designs, in a way.

My interest in video games began with Super Mario Bros. It amazed me, after passing new levels, I wanted to play again and again! When I learned about the movie's release, I was very happy. Then after so many years, the second part of this movie came out in 2019! Because of work, I could not watch it at the cinema. So I looked for platforms where there were all หนังใหม่ล่าสุด with no ads! And now, this year comes the announcement of the release of part 3 of Super Mario Bros. I'm looking forward to watching it!

Consider the following: it's a movie who's target audience are kids (dumb kids) but kids nonetheless... and most of the critics comes from middle aged people that got disappointed by the 90s movie...

Or even worse, if critics only knew "Super Hornio Brothers" then their disappointment is unmeasurable and their day is ruined.

If i was watching only well-rated series, i would be watching game of thrones and... err...

So what? Loved them both.

Just watched Mario. It's impressive. And while I understand a bit the hate on some Ilumination movies, their animation is usually very good. Mario is their most polished work visually so far.

Since most critics are outside of gaming culture, it seems, they are just whining because this is not a "mature" story, like The Last of Us (even if this one got some of the simplest and weakest plots mature games usually go by).

The movie is great. Mario is Mario. Stupid and wonderful fun.
