Thank you for your purchase and feedback. For what its worth, I got my GuliKit Joy Conns today, no gap or click or outer deadzone issues like people have mentioned.
The sticks look exactly like the original Nintendo ones. They are a noticeably stiffer than the Nintendo ones, and they have a smaller central deadzone, which actually makes it easier to sneak slowly in Zelda. The stiffness was a bit hard at first, especially in games like Smash Bros but I'm already getting used to it.
So they need to be "broken in" sort of speak? Good info to knowI have had mine installed for a couple months now and they are fantastic. My only issues were the stiffness at first but that is easily worked out after some use. Even after killing the batteries while playing they keep their calibration.
Have you noticed better battery life with these sticks?
I bought my Switch used and the battery life was shorter compared to my brother's joycons so I don't know for sure, but I honestly don't believe the gulikit sticks can affect battery life noticeably. I only let my joycons die to see if I had to recalibrate after full discharge.Have you noticed better battery life with these sticks?
Not really. They are a little bit more "stiff" than original but not so much, you don't "break" them they "break" you you get used to the new stiffness and even you miss it on other controllers, my new Stadia and my 8bitDo are the same stiff so no missen there. So they need to be "broken in" sort of speak? Good info to know
Seems cool. I'd be willing to test it.How about this one guys? I need 10 people to test it.

Edit whoops
I tried these but I ended up putting back the original sticks.
I didn't like the "stiffness" especially not after some extended gameplay.
Thought I would get used to it but then other issues appeared a few days later.
So it started on the right stick first, if I pushed it all the way to the right it would start freaking out "flickering" quickly between all the way to the right and all the way to the left. I checked the ribbon cable and recalibrated the stick but the issue wouldn't go away.
Then the same issue started happening in the left stick but on the other axis.
are the odds of getting the same issue in both sticks in a matter of days?
I went on amazon and checked the reviews and actually found a few people having the same issue.
So I left a review and swapped back the original sticks.
I might be tempted to order another pair if they fix the stiffness and the "stick spasm" issues.
But for now I really can't recomend these to anyone.

You can go to the calibration page to see if there are obvious problems; if so, provide a video to contact the seller. One of my sticks developed a strange issue where the apparent "distance" or tilt jumps when moving between top left and bottom left, though it only happens very close to the deadzone. I only noticed it after playing TOTK because of how small that game's deadzones are.
Unfortunately I got them in early June so I think I'm out of the return window, but for the price I'll pick up another set and have a spare. The other three sticks have been flawless, to the point where I prefer using my joycons over my trusty DS4 controller depending on the game. They're extremely precise compared to most joysticks.
