First, I disconnected the battery

I tested the green area with the ground (no beep), but seems some of pins from the red area are beeping
Sounds like this is the problem but I tested caps and resistors next to the area and they are beeping too

If FPC wasn’t the problem, I guess It wouldn’t beeping right ?

Test it in continuously mode.

Hi everyone. Well, I updated my switch to the 17.0.1 today. It works well and all, but when I turn on Hekate (on RCM mode) I can only choose between CFW and emu MMC. The option to boot into original firmware (without hack) is not there anymore. Why is that happening and how can I bring it back?

Thanks in advance.

What is the best way to update my atmosphere CFW and FW and keep all my games and saves?
If you have a custom theme installed, make sure to uninstall it (via NXThemesInstaller) before you proceed to update.
You can backup your saves with JKSV and restore them after the update should you need it.

Before you update firmware, make sure that both Hekate and Atmosphere support the latest firmware or the firmware you're updating to.
If they do, check if the sigpatches are updated to support the latest firmware and Atmosphere version.

If everything seems okay, update Hekate and Atmosphere first, followed by sigpatches.

Once you do that, update firmware via Daybreak as well. You can find firmware files on that certain site we aren't allowed to link to (that's what I usually do) or you can dump the latest firmware after you update your OFW. I personally like to keep my OFW firmware version the lowest possible just in case a future exploit is found and supports the firmware I have (unlikely to happen, but one can never know).

If you used either Haku33, TegraExplorer, EmmcHaccGen or ChoiDujour in the past, you might run into a save issue after updating to 17.0.0 or newer. To fix it, make sure to boot at least once into sysNAND CFW with Atmosphere 1.6.1 or newer.

If you've used Incognito_RCM or similar in the past in order to blank your prodinfo, Atmosphere will crash as soon as your console connects to the Internet and tries to connect to the Nintendo servers due to your console not having valid prod keys.
You won't run into this issue if you are always in airplane mode or if you're using DNS MITM.
If you plan on connecting your console to the Internet, you can use this patch and/or DNS MITM.

I guess I've covered everything for now.

Do you have any tutorial for update or that from rentry.org is okay?

My installed game should stay installed?

Edit: is it okay to use https://github.com/HamletDuFromage/aio-switch-updater or it is better to do it manually?

Edit2: I also found this pretty nicely written tutorial: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/extras/updating/

So I need to take off the connector before, okay I let you know when I did everything
Post automatically merged:

So I just took off the connector and tested connection with continuity mode and only GNDs are beeping ! I guess the problem came from a faulty connector (nothing with the colored squares btw)
Anyone can help me to know If I’m in the good way ? Pls

You probably shouldn't use aio-switch-updater, unless you don't mind running into problems down the line. Better to update manually. @Blythe93 pretty much gave you the best directions for updating, as far as I'm concerned. Just follow what he told you and you should be fine.

Hi I was trying to follow the guide that thejaakspoiler indicated in the forum thread

"Anyone experience of transferring Pokemon saves from emummc to sysmmc"

and possibly because I didn't interpret it correctly, I tried doing the following steps.

copy the JKSV save games to the PC.
Make a backup of the sysmmc and mount it to the computer.
Go to G:\emuMMC\RAW1\Nintendo\save
and paste it in G:\Nintendo\save

Admitedly I didn't try to restore the sysmmc with Hekate but I'm not sure how to or what I should be doing to do this properly. The JKSV SaveData.bin is quite a bit different from the names of the files in the save folder.
Below is the instructions that @thejaakspoiler listed.
If you don't want to use a CFW, then it becomes way more complex :
Dump the savegames with jksv on the emummc.
Copy the savegames to a PC.
Make a dump of the sysmmc with Hekate and copy that to a PC.
For safety reasons, make a backup of this file.
Mount the dump of the sysmmc and copy the savegames to the savegames folder
Save the sysmmc and copy it back to the SD card of the switch.
Finally restore the sysmmc dump with Hekate.
Be sure you know what you're doing when trying to do this.
Messing this up could seriously wreck your Switch and you might need the help of some expert to fix it.
As long as you have a good backup, it can all be fixed though.

Rentry.org Switch guide is pretty straightforward, but doesn't really go too much into details.
NH Switch guide, however, is pretty detailed but doesn't mention updating sigpatches anywhere, which is required for game backups to work.

Just re-read what I've posted here and you should be good. (I've updated the post with the links to make it a bit easier for you.)

They should work after update, but there's always a chance that one or two will stop working. Check here if you run into problems.

As @Dust2dust said, better stick to doing it manually unless you know what you're doing. It'll be much easier for you to troubleshoot issues in the future should I run into one.

Transferring save files from emuMMC to sysMMC can get your console banned. thejaakspoiler's guide should work (you can mount your sysMMC backup with NxNandManager or similar), but making any changes your sysNAND will make it "dirty" and possibly get your console flagged for ban when you go online. If you've bought the game and want to play it on your stock firmware, I'd say it's better to start from the beginning, especially if it's an online game. It's not worth getting your console banned.

I have the game physically and want to play on stock, ideally on my other switch. I missed the BDSP mystery gift event so I used PKHX to get the item. Want to go for a shiny dex and for darkrai BDSP seems like the best option especially thanks to the blinking stuff. And since I want it to eventually end up in Pokemon Home that means sysnand

You are better off just trading pokemon over.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
