So I tried a custom race with 200CC. We eventually ended up doing Dragon Driftway. I can say for sure that it's tricky for a lot of people. I managed to get ahead (I did get a bullet bill, in THIRD place for whatever reason), and when I was in second, I fell a couple of times and still didn't lose position. Those initial turns are really tricky to get through! Master those on 200CC and you'll kick ass on that course!
If one drifts earlier than expected no breaks are needed and this is how I intend on mastering 200cc. Breaks and Mario Kart.. nah, not for me.
You don't have too much budge room on DD, trust me. You're going so damn fast and colliding with people that you probably won't get a decent drift in there until you're sandwiched into the wall.
That gets in the way as you sometimes need to look at the rear (X) to be sure no one's nearby or the precise position to attack with a shell.Anyone find any shortcuts in Baby Park?
I really like the subway one and several others a great as well. Some of them seem rather tame but I suspect they will get better when the shortcuts are found.
My son just pointed out tome that the right stick on the pro controller can be used for accelerate and brake. Does anybody use this and would it have better response?

If you take a wide angle around the first corner, there is a small bump at the side which jumps you over to near the finish line and it cuts off like half the lap. Its very simular to how you do the wario stadium trick in mario kart 64
Same here. I get close but there is always one race where I continually get whacked.I'm so bad at Mario Kart that i haven't even gotten 3 stars in ask the 150cc cups
150cc just takes a bit of strategy and boosting then you're set to be on 1st place but it could happen that you'd be hit multiple times.. and MK8 is limited to 1 item only not that it'd help too much having 2 in this instance but still better.I'm so bad at Mario Kart that i haven't even gotten 3 stars in ask the 150cc cups
So what stat should we boost to stay on track better. Handling or traction?
