Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

Hmm? For me, it didn't crash. But I also hate the "Blue Shadow" error in the Flower Cup.

Yeah, I haven't had any crashing issues as of yet, so I can run cups fine, but the lag cuts the FPS in half and makes it really hard to race. I find it easier at full speed, but having the speed cut has its benefits too I suppose.

Time Trials on the other hand, they run pretty much perfectly. No complaints there whatsoever. I might try beating all the staff ghosts in the non-DLC tracks.

I added this and it never worked. Does it not work in the newest version of Cemu?

I think that is mario kart is not update (Version 4.1)

What's the point in playing a game if you're just going to use someone else's save file with everything already unlocked?

Because playing Grand Prix literally takes forever because of the lag, so it could take quite a while to unlock everything.

Not to mention it can crash after a cup race too.

Forever? Took me like, half an hour to an hour at the most...

Especially if there isn't much to unlock in the first place/unlocking isn't hard! ^^

Because most of us own this game for our WiiUs and already 100% them there, plus we're playing on an experimental emulator just to test things out and maybe we don't want to 100% it again?

Cool, the first save link worked for me. I have the 4.1 update for Cemu, as well as on my real Wii U, which has all the DLC too. It's a shame the DLC won't work on Cemu yet though. But thanks for the save.

DLCs are not stored in the save files, it's probably tied to something else, also it should be unlockable with a memory patch or by patching the executable file for the new update.

I was going to try a little memory hacking to see if the DLC could be unlocked on Cemu, but haven't started on it yet.

Don't expect it anytime soon though, sorry. I have DLC on the real thing, so my priorities are still on the real thing, especially my exploit research.

However, I am pretty sure it is possible to do, will just take some trial and error and searching.

Meh, I just wanted to play through all the courses and when Cemu is 90% accurate compared to the Wii U, I will start off with a new save for a better experience with the game.

Yeah, one cup takes me about half an hour to complete with the lag. But doing 8 of them? That's a tall order when you have the lag working against you.

Dunno if you might be interested, but the original version of this video wasn't modded. You could barely hear the original/default track so I simply had a YT video playing the music in the background when I recorded it. Same thing when I first replaced the music/modded it with the exact same track.

At any rate, this is what I'd consider the final version of this course with these 2 particular tracks for those interested-

Atm I have 7 other courses working with [mostly] Zelda themes/music and proper volume levels, "looping", and switching. These files themselves are very small and I can presumably just upload/share my modded MK8 course music folder when I'm done, assuming anyone wants it ofc.
