Hacking Who hasn't yet installed arm9loaderhax? Why?

Argh, want to pull my hair out, on part 4 I can successfully dump my hs.app file and create the FBI with banner file and inject it but when I reboot into emunand it still has health and safety. Yes I selected emunand when injecting it. Tempted to create a emunand from scratch.

Did you launch the health and safety and it was unchanged, or did you still see it on the home screen and not launch it?

An alternative to FBI would be the BBM. I have never successfully gotten FBI to inject myself but using BBM worked like a charm everytime. User preference really but I prefer the BigBlue Menu to FBI any day......

You didn't mention any CFW in your sentence so you can't say "it's the only CFW I know how to install"
But good guy the one who sold you the 3DS. Some sellers update the firmware before selling because they're dumb. Glad to see some people still have some brightness.

Well obviously, with extended definitions, everything is a CFW. But if you don't call menuhax a CFW, you shouldn't call a9lh a CFW. They are more the entrypoint to the real CFW deal.

I think I missed one line of instruction when I did it the first time, best if you retrace your steps and see if you did the same thing. If you did everything right, then I don't know

I don't know much about 3ds hacking. But arm9 alone does everything I want. I was reading a little about ntr last night, the plugin for Pokemon wild encounter is pretty cool. However I don't want just set the number and get the respected Pokemon. I am hoping to find one where it let you capture pokemons that you haven't captured in your pokenav. Is there something like that?

A9LH (or arm9loaderhax) is a system exploit that takes control over your system very early on boot, making it possible to run (on boot) custom software not signed by Nintendo, such as a Custom Firmware and that otherwise would be rejected by the console.

Luma3DS is your Custom Firmware (what gets loaded by A9LH on boot), and this is what makes it possible to install unsigned apps and games to your homemenu, among other things. One could run Luma3DS (or another CFW) without setting up A9LH. A9LH just makes it more enjoyable since it boots faster and is a more permanent hack than others.

You'll need to upgrade to 9.2, so you'll need to do the 9.2 Update of the guide first.
