Yes, that i know. Which i am aware of. Which is why i said that if the vita save system is anything like the ps3 Which does have that situation, it would be a problem.
Exactly. That's why user HarbingerSpeaks said that that's not a problem, using programs that resign the save.
You specifically asked "What is a save resigner?", correct?
That's the answer. A save resigner is a program that resigns the save file, so that is usable in those cases

So there is a save resigner for psvita?

I didn't said that... But it is plausible to create one, in the near future, of course. Depending on the development of the scene.
That was my point. If one doesn't exist and psvita saves system are like ps3 then that was the point. That would be the problem, we are unable to share save data that way.

My point in replying was not to engage in the previous conversation. It was only to answer to your specific question: "What is a save resigner?".

Hmm... Was wondering if porting a Dreamcast emulator (like reicast (that's based on nullDC) or other) to the Vita would be very hard?
Reicast actually runs pretty well on Android, even on some devices that have hardware less powerfull than the Vita... Also, some of the hardware of the Vita is also the same in a lot of Android devices, so... I guess it's pretty possible?

UPD: Guess someone already had tought about this:

So they fixed the problem with Neo-Geo games today? Wow, neat! I just played Metal Slug on RetroArch, and it seemed to work as good or better than the PSP emulator I'd been using before. I've used RetroArch on the 3DS, though, and it's kind of a pain to reassign buttons. Hopefully it won't be that way on the Vita.

I don't know if anyone already mentioned it but a homebrew to make the Vita be usable as a Bluetooth controller for PC would be neat.
yes that would be awesome
i FIND IT FUNNY people asked for a PS2 emulator before a N64 emulator. Talking about setting your sights too high.
right i believe the n64 emulator has a better chance on the vita than the psp

Yeah a cheat plugin would be great and usefull. Some games, like Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2, are a bit hard on psvita...
Are u kidding me? Ninja Sigma 1 and 2 are watered down versions of the console versions.. I have them both. It's WAY easier on the vita.
If you think this is hard you might aswell stop playing....

Maybe you kidding me. The controls are much harder than console version, this is what i mean. Some people said that aim the bow in NG2 on psvita its very annoying, and i have Ninja Gaiden Black for xbox; endlessly easier to control than sigma for psv.

Thats just full of shit bro. Controls work exactly the same like you had a controller in your hand. Well for the bow part you might be right. But how often do you actually use a bow in combat in ninja gaiden. Right, well unless you think you are zelda in ninja gaiden, youll be using your dragonsword or some other weapon, which works, exactly as you are used to, on a small screen... :)

The vita's analog stick its great, but light years away from being like a true controller's stick.

It's not that bad. even after playing it on the vita with its regular joysticks i was still owning them, it cant be that big a difference to a point you need cheats tbh. Well with bow aiming yeah. But still they gimped the game so much that are way less enemies etc.. and other things to tone down diffiiculty. Nowadays I use a Xbox 1 controller addon on the vita for things that require better aiming, haven't tried ninja gaiden though.

I read that right? You use X1 controller on psvita?

I use an Xbox 1 analogue stick addon that you click on the psvita. It's pretty neat. found on ebay.
There are some disadvantages though. 1. the stick makes it "higher". 2. it's a little bit loose so it can turn a bit while playing but not to a point it obstructs gameplay. and 3, the right anologue stick is now close to the X button, which makes it hard to use that.. (you could choose to only do the left analogue stick however)
