Are you using FIX94's latest build which isn't the Debug one?
https://mega.nz/#!s1RVnBYI!q45chmKv2-vquC3n5mRDJ6YEdbEdWhMl-CtlCpJ_1XcAlso, PSX bios are somewhat annoying. I read that one of the .bin files is REALLY hard to find, and you can only get it by copying another BIN file named differently and renaming it to the proper name. Maybe that's your issue.

No, this here https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/wiiu/2016-11-24_RetroArch_rpx.7z which was compiled and more new than FIX94's build.

Guys, I finally updated my version (my last one was @FIX94 modification of nes and snes core like...70 pages ago :D) and now none of my saves would load with the new version. I used latest nightly. :(
Did I miss something? Should I delete whole retroarch folder except roms when updating?

Yes, Retroarch is very picky when it comes to config files, if you are having a problem it's likely a wrong parameter in the config files. Backup your saves and delete the retroarch folder in the root.
Also probably the saves are not compatible between both versions?

Isn't usually this times when someone out of nowhere comes with a miraculous dynarec for PPC? :v
I heard that if you pray enough to the God of the Emulators, a user is materialized with the required knowledge to make a Dynarec for PowerPC architecture for N64, PSX and DS in just one day!

Either that or donating :P

No need, just the config files to avoid any conflicts if need be.

That might be dangerous as well, because if he has certain folders specified with files required by Retroarch from an older build, the folder directories might be broken once the config file is created again.
Though this might be fixed by simply readding the previous paths to the Directories option in Settings.

Oh dear!
Anyone that can confirm this?
I would hate to start doing FF3 now just to see old saves being useless later on :(
Unless the saves are in .sav format, I don't think there might be compatibility issues.
Retroarch handles saves as .srm files for everything, so unless he was using .sav files, there should be no problems, at least I haven't got any and I've been testing nightlies a lot.

I just tested it actually using .state format, works perfect! :)

Then all he has to do is edit them with notepad ++, don't use normal notepad as the text is a mess :P

Oh btw I forgot to mention that Doom and Doom II now work properly with mp3 files!
I played me some Doom yesterday up to Map 4 and my oh my the sound was awesome!
I don't know what build made it, but I guess it might have been one of the changes FIX94 made to the audio driver which fixed the mp3 issue I was having previously.

Now I just have to edit the mp3 to cut-off at the exact moment so that the music loops properly. :)

Just downloaded the full mame2003 romset and stupidly transferred all the roms to the same folder on the sd card.... It's been 10 mins so far and the romlist still hasn't loaded lol
Hope this gets sorted soon..

the problem with that is that the native wiiu os fat module doesnt have any caches so for every file it loads from the table it has to get that file table again from your drive, the only way to work around that would be to actually implement a custom fat module and do raw reads from devices and until that it will be a looong time if it ever happens at all.
