Yeah but we're talking about the ones that do.Because having bought a 3DS on launch meant there wasn't any IPS panels available.
^ also that.

How does it feel to be rused by the biggest scam in console hacking history?
. I am not counting viewing angles because you always look at your 3DS directly.
Sometimes, I like to show people things without them getting close to me or touching my stuff. Also, the 3-D face-tracking works pretty well--farther than most would think (for when you want to show non-believers the improvement to games that feature 3-D.) I get a kick out of showing people a 3-D YT video slowed down or sped up.
I can't see a difference until the screens are tilted, even side-by-side.
That comparisson pic is pretty badly taken. We can't even see the N3DS XL fully... And that N3DS looks like TN.View attachment 79661
O3DS is....O3DS.
O3DS XL looks brighter and displays vibrant color, but the top and bottom of the top screen have a noticeable lighting effect (no angle--1.5 feet away.)
N3DS XL is...N3DS XL
All settings were on the lowest.
You're kinda missing the point. Vita and 3ds are different products from different companies at different price points. The new Vita's use lcd instead of oled and it's still not a problem because you always know what you're getting. There's zero uncertainty. How are people not bothered by the low resolution and pixilated screens of the 3ds? The Vita oled screen is at least twice as good.
See how that makes you sound?
There are a lot of people who don't necessarily care. You, on the other hand, seem to be sensitive to it. That's fine. And I know there are others. But trying to make an argument about it isn't a good practice.
You only really notice the benefits of IPS at extreme angles. Try looking at your screen straight-on.I'm playing FF explorers right now and the colors on my 3DS (dual TN variant) are so dull, blurry, and washed out it's as if I'm playing the game with a white filter on my screens. And no I'm not playing the game while the 3DS is tilted off to the side but rather I'm playing the game HEAD ON, you know, how like normal people like you and me play games on our handhelds?
How did Nintendo even get away with producing these cheap TN panels? The visual quality and bad colors on the thing seriously puts me off from playing any game on it. Haven't played a game seriously since.
Why did no one complain about this screen issue and sued Nintendo for it? Their selling IPS variants and TN variants for the same amount of money so a lot of people are gonna pay the exact same amount and get an inferior version of the product.
It just baffles my mind how no one is complaing about this (even if there is, they aren't that many to cause a real issue for Nintendo). Does Nintendo even check the visual quality and color production on bothvariants before sending their units off to game stores? Cause it seems they don't.
Has Nintendo even officially mentioned something about this screen issue? It's bullshit that some of us aren't enjoying our handhelds.
If you can only use your system at extreme angles then it makes a huge difference. Otherwise, no.Finally the IPS screens are really so important ?
