yes, any modifications u want like the config.txt or even the icon go in the haxchi folder on the root of your sd card.

u can't brick with haxchi. uninstalling first is recommended for cbhc. I've seen bricks from not doing so.

It will give you error, you can't update on rednand. You need to update manually using the wup installer.

Would anyone know why I my FTP Client (FileZilla) won't list any files in any of the root folder directories when I use ftpiiu_anywhere? Like, the main root directories show, but I can't access any thing else other than the SD card contents.

Pretty sure you need CFW. I know Mocha works. Not sure about HaxChi CFW

That was cute; I spoofed and then it was like "plox gib update". So just deleted the updates folder :^)

I just checked this claim myself, and you're right! It, for some reason doesn't save when after changing anything when you power off your Wii U directly from ftpiiu.

However, it is not possible to turn off the Wii U from the ftpiiu screen unless you force shut the console (which is the wrong thing to do, not a normal function) by holding the power off button on the console until it turns red.

So yeah, while I agree it's a good idea to mention it, but it technically should not be an issue as people who turn off the console this way are going out of their way to make it not work. The app forces you to press home to exit to hbl, and from there exit to system menu, where you can turn off normally

Yeah that's exactly what I did forced a shut down, bad mistake. I just didn't think about it at the time I was in such a hurry, then I tested out the update, it went through ok I thought never mind it will just error on install and then I noticed it wasn't going to do that so I pulled the plug at 43% luckily it didn't fully update so I just did the old remove a not completed update on it and it was ok but your right if you do it properly, "not like my version" its ok and works fine.

Well as has been made clear in several threads I am against spoofing lol but I'm at my friend's house and he wanted his spoofed so I just did it for him and tried the eshop but it just error codes out it only works after using nnu patcher. As I keep saying spoofing is pointless as you can still play online on 5.5.1 and can still access the eshop using nnu patcher.

Ah okay, it's because I just did the new chinese method to delete the updates folder within the NAND, and it turns out that I still need NNU Patcher just because Eshop requires the latest update. So I was wondering if I could've spoofed to 5.5.2.
