Misc Wii Shop Channel closing in January 31st 2019

After the DSi shop closing, it shouldn't be much of a surprise to see Nintendo closing down the Wii Shop soon enough, perhaps they want to focus all of their attention to the Nintendo Switch and its respective Nintendo eShop.

We at RiiConnect24 have downloaded some of the stuff of the Wii Shop Channel, so it's not necessary.

since it likley hosted the files for System files most used by other tools to one-click Mod, IOS installers etc, will you guys begin Archiving these as well?

We have all of that, but the funny thing is that even after the DSi Shop closed, the files are still up on Nintendo's servers, so I'm not sure if it's going down with the Wii Shop Channel.

i guess certain reasons (Transfeering to 3DS/ Redownloading on 3DS) for DSi files still being on thier servers. but never hurts to be ready Just in case as we as a community learned it the hard way w/ WFC when it went belly up

No! Everyone will miss that legendary theme...I hope after it closes you can still go hear the theme on the channel.
