When it comes to Pokemon, I really can't tell the difference in speed and audio (a good thing,) other than it's a great improvement over the Sickc build when it comes to the intro video / audio.

On the plus side, it fixes the upscaling issue with Pokemon in battle where the textures wouldn't meet in the middle, causing a line to appear directly down the center of them. Woo.

That said, great job compiling this so far. Much better in comparison to the builds from a few pages ago. Pokemon Moon is running fabulously.

However, what do we consider to be the most reliable and stable?

---

Does anyone have a Ultra Moon No Outline Patch / Code / Method for Citra that doesn't result in a black screen? And by that I mean the line required for Hex Editing or an IPS Patch that works correctly.

Edit: Nevermind, found the Hex for Ultra Moon via Google.

Code to find:
01 01 80 E0 04 20 80 E5

Replace with:
01 01 80 E0 00 F0 20 E3

Definitely appreciated!
I'm waiting for builds that he compile today, but there is no new update, so uploading builds from yesterday.

By the way,
he upload his builds in Baidu, but the interface is all Chinese and there is a wall in China's internet, so if you don't give it a crack, the download speed is very slow (10~100KB/s).

Citra Unofficial versions, by sickc, Nov 21th.
These versions are many optimized Citra for different CPUs.
They include texcache, cheats function (maybe some problems because new codes), new controller support, QR code, background color selector.
- It will keep update every week, if I have free time, I'll post new versions here.

GitHub: https://github.com/sickc/citra
Download links: https://justpaste.it/1dr4z

I am using LLVM version, and FPS increase 2 from Canary 173 in Pokemon Sun. (Different computer will get different results.)

Which version you can use:
For example, Skylake version support CPUs after Skylake.
If your CPU is release after Intel Haswell or AMD Excavator, then you can use AVX2.

How do I use it?

You don't just download the build with it in
Mingw - https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Jhno591/citra/build/1.0.14/job/3mqj9db7x8801dq6/artifacts
Or
MSVC https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Jhno591/citra/build/1.0.14/job/iwtbjk1qpkf7nh6g/artifacts

yes even with texcache-rebase in mingw now.

I have no idea why people like it done in this way LOL, ?, Maybe they just don't see the way AppVeyor dose it too well..

Changelog in my commits.

I think it's because appveyor hides the links under archives. Which is confusing and wierd. Archive leads one to assume old versions not new.

i'm still playing ultra moon in MSVC-2017-NO-OPTIMIZED-14-OCT-201 (TABNK) because of the cheat bar, overall,is in good state, only graphic flickering when in day time is a problem...

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
