Hacking Ps3Xploit - Now Install CFW from 4.82 OFW : NOR/NAND Software Flash Writer + NOR Dumper Released

So... I followed the guide on a launch slim, and success at writing and now it won't boot. No light, I push power, red light, push power again, it tries to boot for maybe two seconds and cuts off. Did I brick it?

I keep getting the data is corrupted 8002F169 after toggling QA Flag, Restarting and going to install the Rebug CFW, any ideas?

Try recovery mode. if you cannot boot into that then possibly might be a brick. Someone else may know more and chime in on the problem.

So I installed the normal Ferrox but I guess I need Ferrox Cobra for the ROMZZZ (inb4 this post gets deleted) - can I just install the Cobra version now? Or is Cobra some special meme that we can't access now?

Cobra is for Cobra ODE. Install Multiman or WebMan MOD and you are good to go.

Hi guys, quick question: I think I followed the steps accurately, I formatted a USB drive on FAT32 and I put the flsh.hex file on its root. I plugged it on the far right port of my PS3 (20XX slim) and tried to launch the NOR writer on the webhost but I keep getting a FAILED exploit for some reason ? Did I miss anything or should I just push my luck and keep refreshing the exploit

EDIT: managed to get a SUCCESS after around 40 tries but my ps3 then froze instantly. Time to try again

Well, I'm kinda in the same boat.
You're not on CFW yet. I installed Ferrox 4.82 and then the Multiman pkg.

Download the PUP file, then put it as PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP on your USB, then go to System Update > From Storage Media, and it should say Ferrox

Yes.

Yep seems like Cobra is the only solution because... idk. Maybe it was done like this. Probably try to FTP to your console and create a ROMZZZZ or PS3_GAMES folder.
