Nocash loves assembler. No$GBA is written in assembler.
Was written in assembly back in the 90's when it was only running GB games. Since the addition of gba and nds, I doubt very much that the legacy assembly portions aren't inlined to the C/C++ portions with the newer updates being done in C/C++. This is speculation however since no$gba has always been closed source .
Sure, but assembly gets transated direclty while C (which is a pretty low level language) and higher level languages contain commands etc. that don't directly exist in hardware. There is no "loop" machine code - only jumps. As I said, it depends on the purpose of the code.

It depends on the purpose of the code. There are cases where a fast code is crucial and where it is crucial to know exactly how long a program takes. That's nearly impossible with higher level languages.

That depens on the perspecitve. Access modificators may lead to compiler errors although the code should work on a logical layer, you have more keywords etc. Assembly is named logical, too. Nocash would tell you that it's much easier to read assembly. It depends on what you're used to, how you got teached etc.
You're so full of shit and you're not even good at pretending to not be.

Any modern compiler will emit better assembly than you can write by hand because the tricks and optimization for performance are all built into the compiler. One person can know a few things sure, but the combined knowledge of many goes into gcc for example, resulting in better code than you would do yourself.

As I've already stated, unless you're writing firmware, drivers, bootloaders, or involved in RE projects, assembly isn't common nor necessary for most people. Nor will it magically make your applications run faster. Nor will it make you a superior developer. A superior developer uses the right tools for the job. They use tools that allow maintainable, readable, and if necessary, portable, code which assembly does not lend itself to. They care more about doing the job right than trying to seem smart on forums talking about things they clearly don't understand.

Stop wasting your energy -(he probably never coded in any language anyway)
Maybe ending this argument is best for all and everyone
