Side note: Anyone know how to back up the title keys file on my 3DS? Is it the file in the "keys" folder? Could I theoretically upload that file to GDrive and point my FreeShop to it?

The encTitleKeys.bin is in 3ds/freeshop/keys/download.0.bin. Just rename it and upload it somewhere.

A critical bug sneaked in now :/
I mean, I can release the sources and everything either way. but uhh, it'll be useless.
Maybe at least a good example of how to use cpp3ds (although nobody except me does that)

Nintendo blocked some tmd files from there Games. So we cant download games like 3d world or smash....

Hello guys, I'm a newbie so I don't know if I say it correctly but, my freeshop crash everytime I try to download Mario Kart 7 (and everytime after this). All other games works fine, here is picture of the error, could you help me?
EDIT: Same with Metroid: Samus Returns

Yeah, a lot of first party games can't be downloaded anymore. I'm testing on both Villain3DS and USB Helper but i'm guessing it's affecting Freeshop as well.

Most third party games still downloads fine. Currently downloading Phoenix Wright and just finished Fantasy Life.

I wonder if freeshop's sleep mode on 11.8 works. In other words would it work if you sent any ticket or does it have to be a valid one?

The ticket must be signed, it's verified server side (else why implement the new way if everyone and their mom has been using ticket-generating programs for the past 2+ years? )

Because it is possible that they merely implemented the system that requires a ticket without actually doing the validation. It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

Assuming there ever was a time where they didn't check the ticket, it was proven fixed at the very least a couple of days ago

Can confirm mario kart 7 crashes the 3ds both US and EU, RIP FreeShop

It seems both sites are being blocked by the ISPs or DNS servers.

You can bypass it by putting the "ip address + domain name" in your hosts files if you're using Windows. Should be in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

No the domain is gone altogether, probably hasn't been renwwed

Emuparadise and Freeshop dead in the same week, what a blow. Glad I got what I needed while I could lol. This was a great tool, especially for noobs.

There is a very good reason for torrents.
As nice as it to have simple methods of obtaining pirated content, anything that relies on a centralized server can be taken down. Piracy will never stop though.
Let's be glad that we still have homebrewed systems that can run pirated CIA files obtained elsewhere.
