Hacking [REQUEST] anyone stuck on 4.70-4.74 OFW..

Hey,

CelesteBlue and I have started up a group chat on discord for people who are stuck on 4.70-4.74 and unable to upgrade/have broken BD.

If you are willing to help and have this firmware (or even 4.55 for port testing) please DM me and we can all try help CelesteBlue facilitate the porting 4.55 KEX to 4.7X.

The more the merrier, but you must be willing to dump and test files.

I will help where possible, unfortunately I am on 5.05, but I have strived for action like this for months to help the 4.7X people who deserve KEX! It’s finally happening!

I will document any finding here and pass on any files too for others who don’t have/want discord etc.

@dark41 DM me, you don’t need skills as much as the ability to host and run a few files and report back exactly what appears on screen.

Right now CelesteBlue is modifying 4.55 KEX to output different values and then modding those values for better effect.

After this is bettered, the KROP begins.

Anyone on 4.55 might want to help too

My old console is the PS4 with 4.73 that has a broken BD. It's now stuck with error E-801809A8 while updating.

I've good experience with console modding so can help with the tests.

I’ve got a console that’s on 4.?? The trouble is, it’s got a broken Drive, and the person I gave it to “fix” has made it worse, it won’t even switch on now. Do any of you guys know anywhere in the UK that fixes them for a reasonable

Please check and try this, it’s from Specter himself and may need a shellcode mmap fix, but it’s definitely progress!
