The European Koei Tecmo Europe account started a discussion with a tweet where they asked people to retweet if they want to see more backwards compatible Koei Tecmo titles on the xbox one. This naturally led a lot of people to start requesting everything from Nioh on xbox one, a new ninja gaiden game, a new monster rancher game, and more

One twitter user asked them about the best place to leave feedback, and they even posted a link where you can email them directly some feedback and game ideas.

I know that this is not an xbox specific section, but I felt that anyone could use this link to request more games that they would like to see from Koei Tecmo

I would personally love to see a new Ninja Gaiden game similar to ninja gaiden black, Nioh 1 & 2 on xbox one and PC, and a new monster rancher game.

Thank you for posting this here!!
I'll be sure to contact them and ask them for more anime adaptation games. I am incredibly tired of Bandai Namco flooding the market with their low-quality anime games... there are some interesting ones but mostly it's just nowhere near as good when Koei Tecmo ruled the seas. Attack on Titan 1-2, Berserk, Hokuto, Gundam, One Piece - so many great games!
They even brought back Deception series which is one of a kind but nobody praises them for that. =/

Anyway, Koei Tecmo are my favorites.

I dig this. When you're trying to sell something to a group of people having their feedback is nice. Wish more companies realized this.

Exactly, it seems like the logical standpoint from marketing standpoint. Instead of assuming trends, how about you ask your fans directly for feedback.

I sincerely hope use this as a chance to request the titles they want, Koei Tecmo are one of my favorite developers from my childhood and I want them to make more games from their history

Koei Tecmo is also capable of amazing multiplayer games. They made some amazing jrpgs back in the ps1, and ps2 days

KT had been one of the best devs/publishers out there, I had splurged hours upon hours on a lot of their games. But, I have this to say, when I hear of KT, the word "musou" always comes to mind whatever the case may it be, there's that "footprint" that I can't get rid off my mind. They personified the genre, not a bad thing but not a good thing either.

That's true. They made Nioh which is probably my most favorite difficult game, I like it a whole lot more than any Dark Souls, for example. And the multiplayer in it is brilliant: you have PVP duels for those who want that, you have the co-op-arena (1-4 players), co-op playtrough and overall playing it with other people was a very nice experience: connection always worked, there was always someone to join me even though I played 1 year after its release date and there were a ton of fun character emojis + I can't say I've seen a single troll in that game. I mean, it was a very nice experience.

I'm beyond excited for Nioh 2 and I do want to come back to the first game even though I already have a platinum in it...

Nioh 2 sounds amazing. The idea that you will be able to transform into Japanese mythical beasts with their super powers sounds so interesting to me.

I asked them for an Uchuu Senkan Yamato anime adaptation game.
There's an anime called Uchuu Senkan Yamato, it has been getting quite a few re-tellings over the past few years and I think this anime would have been a perfect fit for a "unique Warriors game". I know that the anime doesn't have many battles, but I do believe it is possible to make a thrilling action game if you find a way to make the Yamato (the battleship) work in player's hands: make each turret gun, each weapon and each part of the ship operatable; add friendship and dialogue system from Shingeki no Kyojin 2, add scavenging missions where you can control the team and look for resources on certain planets, go out on quests. I believe that Yamato would be an amazing experience if you were to make it right. I'd be glad to help with some ideas if needed!!

Yes! It's even cooler than having the creatures fight beside you in the first game. One thing that makes me sad is that there will not be a pre-set character, meaning they'll focus less on the story. I thought the story in Nioh 1 is brilliant and it was much better than Dark Souls where you basically solve the case by finding little clues, going on Wiki and paying attention to little notes and such... it's a fun way of telling a story but not the one that will ever impress me. Nioh took that and went cinematic but kept the clues part, too. They really found a perfect spot with the story and I hope it will be there, otherwise it'll feel like an add-on to me.

Yeah, that would be super odd if they ignore the story. Nioh one has a fanbase dedicated to its story

what were they doing exactly that they killed the feed
I don't understand. I saw some weird gif with one of the characters throwing the nympho-lady in a pose that looked sexual, but I mean it's not something that new. I might be mistaken but Street Fighter has the exact same attack.

Were they doing something else?

Best hint I can give without spoiling it. (Use your favorite search engine to decipher. Youtube is also a choice) :P
Just saw it. Oh my.
I love the comparison with Mortal Kombat. Seriously, the game looks absolutely disgusting. And this comes from someone who has played and loves Mortal Kombat 2010. I have no idea how you can enjoy the gore in MK 11 and then go complain about DOA.

Anyways, I did see what you're talking about and I have to say that I do consider getting the game now, haha. I heard they're going to have a beta with all characters on February... 22nd or something? I'll be sure to check it out!

Thank you. I already found it. ^_^ Ah, now I am worried! I really hope the game turns out fun to play and not fun to look at. I had my fingers burned with Jump Force - bought it digitally and it's just.. plain.

By the way, your avatar is lovely. <3

And rightfully so! It's a shame that there aren't really any games about historical Japan despite the fact that J. games are booming now. Samurai Warriors is the only one I can think of with, of course, Sekiro and that Western samurai game coming out soon. I'm pretty sure Sekiro will be a master-piece but not so sure about the Western one. We'll see!!

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
