NIS America revealed Disgaea 4 Complete+ to the world during E3 2019, teasing the existence of the game, while leaving fans in the dark as to what this new revision would offer over the PlayStation Vita re-release. Now, a few weeks later, we have some insight as to what some of the additions and changes will be. Everything from Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited will be present, as well as features from Disgaea 5, like the cheat shop, event viewer, weapon appearance, and pay up warehouse. Disgaea 4 Complete+ also has online modes, which include a map edit and upload and pirate duels. A few quality of life changes have been added, to make the game look and play better, with the resolution having been increased to 1080p, being able to reposition characters when viewing target areas for their attacks, making the game auto-save whenever you win a battle, and allowing for skill speed to be adjusted up to x4.
More reveals are teased for when the launch date closes in, which has been announced to be on October 29th, for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. A special limited edition will be available, which has the game's soundtrack, a poster, an artbook, and a bookmark.
