Is there anyway to change gender of characters other then Corrin with the built in hex editor? I’m trying to get kids with the same-sex marriage patch, I can’t get it to work with HxD.

If I remember correctly, and its been a while so I could be wrong, but gender for non-corrin characters is stored in the rom.

How do I get to the rom and edit it? I tried using braindump and it didn’t give me the GameData file that I need

I downloaded the Kamui (Female Corrin) unit file that KunoichiZ posted. Will it conflict with my main Male Corrin or anything else in the game, namely the ending credits?

Just never let the second corrin get ahead of yours in the unit list. Then it swaps to the secondary for cutscenes.

So the credits in Revelation won't freeze, just because I have Revived!Scarlet, Yukimura, Izana, Flora!Dwyer, second gender Avatar, second gender Kana (Izana!Kana), Daniela, Haitaka, and Kumagera.

And should I ever install the custom extra data, Zola and Kilma.

I don't believe the extra characters cause freezing on the credits, but I have not tested it myself. As for the dlc characters, they shouldn't cause freezing because the game doesn't even know to put them into the credits so they get ignored.

2. Is it possible to add MyCastle!Lilith to my party (usable on maps) with FEFTwiddler. I know that she's a custom DLC unit, but would that Lilith maintain the same stats as the one you feed food to?

1. I don't know. It is possible that they could, but I have not experimented with that.

2. I believe the my castle Lillith does have an ID number, but I can't remember what it is. Google Fatest hex ids and you'll probably find it. The custom dlc lilith would not keep stats from the castle one since they have different ids.


Edit: MyCastle!Lilith does indeed have its own ID, F5. That Lilith does not have a 3d model, only a map sprite.

Maybe I can reach the final level cap for MyCastle!Lilith, and then add DLC Lilith and alter her stats based on the previous Lilith. One is usable on maps, and the other helps defend MyCastle during those battles. Hey, if Lilith can attempt to take on Hans, than she can fight alongside other units.

Guinea Pig Report Update:
-Depending on which Avatar is your lead (the one who roams around MyCastle/you started the game with), the secondary one won't have any dialog text at all (excluding battle audio). Mute during shop visits, and gives generic "support reached" boxes instead of conversations. However, the supports are still added to the support log (for both genders).
-To switch an Avatar, have the one you want higher up in your roster, then save and reset the game. For example Kamui (Female Corrin) can replace Male Corrin in the game, until you switch him back.
-The secondary Avatar can even bond with their S support partner, even if that partner (such as the no-support units in Revelation) can't normally support with them in a particular path. As long as they're both S support marked in FEFTwiddler, the game will recognized them as married. Ex. Kamui can bond with Izana. "You put a ring on Izana, girl!"
-However, neither Kamui or Male Kana can get a support conversation out of Izana (or Gunter and Yukimura).

My save keeps crashing when I try to load it after editing!

The weirdest part is that it worked the first time, now I feel like I've tried everything and it just won't load after I edit anything. I've tried moving my files off of extra data, only editing the gems (which I did the first time when it worked), copying all 4 files, not just Chapter0, and still nothing.

I'm able to boot the game, just not load the edited save. Also FEFTwiddler refuses to re-open Chapter0 file that it has edited, which made me think it could be the program version, but I tried the next latest release and that didn't change anything. FWIW, I even tried visiting a castle online, saving, and then editing THAT save.

Please help.

Edit: I've tried using both JKSV and Checkpoint.

I believe local battles should still work, but might not. If you really want to do local stuff, just take the shadow-bannable stuff off of your My Castle and fight teams.

Shadow-banning only occurs while you have the offending units/items (enemy only items/classes, forged weapons that cannot be forged, etc) on your My Castle defense team or a PvP team. If you remove the offending things from those teams, the game no longer cares.

It shouldn't. The only things that are really shadow-ban worthy are having enemy-only skills, enemy-only items, enemy-only weapons, and forged weapons that cannot be forged (+7 Omega Yato for example). Fun fact, the personal skill slot is not checked for enemy-only skills, only the 5 normal skill slots. Your amiibo units should be fine, as custom romhacked units are okay online.
