I'm about 45 hours into Paper Mario: The Origami King (good lord this game is long) and I've been stuck for the past three hours.

I'm in The Great Sea, I just got the Diamond Key and I'm not sure where to use it. I've been to all the islands that have toads on them because I've gotten a reward for finding them all from the Princess Peach's captain. The hint is unhelpful and I've been wandering around The Great Sea for a few hours looking for more things and getting tons of coins from those hopping marlins.

This game's fun and all, but it's really boring being stuck like this. I'm sure walkthroughs will become available in 5 or so days, but I feel like my morale will fall too low by that point and I'll just give up. Any hints would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the key that you get from Luigi?
In that case, you need to use the submarine at the center of the club, spades, hearth and moon island.

Well, literally would have never figured that out. Out of curiosity - is there some clear, unmistakable hint in the game for this or do you just need to "galaxy brain" it?
Thank you very much.

I was wondering where that 11th island was too.

This kinda reminds me of the close the DS moment of Phandom Hourglass. No way I would have figured that out if I didn't have to go to the bathroom. :O

Except Olivias drawing she makes when you talk to one of the statues, not really.

@bluedart where are you atm?
If you don't mind me asking, could you by any chance upload your save for me?
My switch somehow messed up some of my saves and yeah... rather not replay +40 hours.

Sure, here's the save file at the point described. Dumped with JKSV.
