I believe that would mean you have 21.3.0, yes.

Essentially yes, here's a short updating guide on it.

The TWiLight Menu++ version will be shown at the bottom-right corner of the top screen of the settings menu, with the nds-bootstrap version on the top left. Some specific games may have problems, but it's fairly unlikely.
If you do run into problems with TWL clock speed, you can let us know so that it can be added to the blacklist.
I dunno if sound frequency is known to be problematic, though.

Many thanks for your help and prompt response! I've easily updated the TWL Menu to the latest version and it's working good. :grog:

So that means that the console won't get any damage for being overclocked, is that correct? :)

It's been a long time that I've been hacking and updating most my consoles, but I still feel like a noob when it comes to things like overclocking and changing certain settings using CFW, hence my questions, to try to understand if I'm on the right track. :rofl:

Cheers.

It shouldn't, the overclocking can improve the speed of certain games, I.E : like scrolling in Pokemon games there's some lag when you're moving too fast with the bike etc, that fixes it. But it doesn't work for every game, and it can cause some problems glitchy artifacts, so you should revert back to the NTR mode for correct rendering. It's to the end user to see if a game needs a bump in clock speed or not, and it's not like PCs kind of overclocking.

I see! Many thanks for clarifying! It makes sense, but I was wondering if it would push too hard for the console. Glad it doesn't work that way. :)

Cheers! ^_^

Sorry if this is not the right thread for this but I'm a bit worried. I started using Luma3DS yesterday and I've manually installed the latest TwilightMenu++ from TWiLightMenu-3DS.7z. I installed those 2 cias files but TwilightMenu didn't showed up on Home Menu, only after I powered on the 3DS again.
Did I messed up something? Everything is working fine so far. Also, can I use Universal-Updater to update/install again over it?

For some reason, DSiWare-type titles need the console to be woken from sleep mode or rebooted for it to appear.
Also, yes, you can use Universal-Updater to update.

Has anyone tested it being executed from an Slot2 flashcart?

I'm executing it from an M3 Pro (I'm not sure about it being an M3 Pro or M3 Perfect), and once I open BOOT.dol, I get the following error:

```
FAT init failed!
Press B to power off.
```

I tried to format my sdcard using FAT16 with a size of 64 sectors per cluster (32KB), but I was not lucky :(

Because I found a reference to the same error in GitHub at: github /DS-Homebrew/TWiLightMenu/issues/1283
(I can't post links yet)

I have a 2GiB SD card as described in the issue, where lifehackerhansol confirms that it should work formatting the sdcard to FAT16 with 32KB clusters.

If I try to format the card to FAT32 with 32KB clusters, fdisk stops me with this warning:

# mkfs.vfat /dev/mmcblk0p1 -F32 -s 64
mkfs.fat 4.1 (2017-01-24)
WARNING: Not enough clusters for a 32 bit FAT!

Thanks :)

And did it fix your issue? Could be something else, is your SDcard h2test tested?

Hi! Quick question. On my new 3DS I'm moving from having my DS games installed on a flashcart to using Twilight instead to save on battery life. I'm a freak who wants to have all his games on the system at once, so I will be using a 128gb micro SD card in my 3DS.
With that being said, I should avoid GBARunner2 so that it doesn't corrupt my SD card?

GBARunner2 had improved over the years, i don't this it still does that, but don't quote me for it. I personally don't use it, as there are much better alternatives (VC/VC injects/mGBA) with much better emulation and performance. Yes you can copy/paste your stuff to your new SDcard, but first test if it's a fake or not with h2testw, as it could corrupt files and cause you problems if it's a fake.

You need to DLDI-patch the boot.nds file with the M3 DLDI file.

Hi, just wanted to say that Transformers: War for Cybertron Autobots keeps crashing in the beginning on Twilightmenu.

Also, Sonic Rush has noticeable spikes of lag/slowdown every now and then.

If anyone can please help, I would be grateful. Thank you in advance.

Make sure asynch card read is turned off in TWLMenu++ Settings, and that TWLMenu++ is up to date.

Setting ARM9 clock speed to TWL will usually fix the slowdowns.

Sonic Rush works well now.

Transformers keeps on crashing, though. Everything is up to date and Asynch card read is turned off. I don't know what else I could do to solve it
