Hello,

I know that the most safe method to be not bad is to use airplane mode on emunand to be sure to not be banned but how do you do with homebrews which need internet access ? By example if i need to use chiaki app for PS remote play ?

Thanks for your help.
Regards,

I read the post on GBAtemp but i have the feeling that "90DNS" is just to set some specific manual DNS in the wifi settings of the switch, is it correct ?
Yes but it's not needed anymore as Atmosphere has DNS blocking built in. It should be turned on by default. But to make sure it's enabled, copy system_settings.ini from config_templates to config (if it isn't already in config), edit it and remove the semicolon and space in front of this line "; enable_dns_mitm = u8!0x1"
Also copy exosphere.ini to config (if it isn't already there) and edit "blank_prodinfo_emummc=0" to "blank_prodinfo_emummc=1" for an extra layer of protection.
Then you are safe to use internet in homebrew.

Because this is blocking specifically Nintendo. It allows for all other network functions past Nintendo's servers. This disguises the console and blocks their servers.

Ok I thought so but this leads me to the following questions:

1. Is there any safeway to link my cfw local account to an nintendo online account which is needed to start some games like MotoGP23 or Quake2 via linkalho?

2. If I reverse the blocking and go into will nintendo ban my cfw switch immediately? Is there a safer way such as 90dns or so? I do need to be able to atleast link the local account

If you need a game downloaded or something along those lines you would install it on OFW and then dump it and install it on emunand. Do not link your accounts.

No I just need to link the local account once so that I can via linkalho create a faux offline linked account to be able to play certain games with that limitation.

At this moment my switch has an CFW and a OFW which I can select in hekate once I boot it up. I only use the cfw OS really

Well logging into your Nintendo account on emunand is an immediate ban risk I will say.

I'm not sure what you mean? That's what Linkalho is for. You should be able to just run Linkalho, you don't need to do anything else.

linkalho needs a local account which is linked already to a nintendo online account. it then uses the local account to create a fake linkage that works offline and indepent of Wi-Fi

without a linked local account linkalho wont work

No, I'm pretty sure that isn't how it works. Linkalho just makes the console think a profile is linked to a Nintendo Account, it absolutely doesn't do anything special to make it work offline. If a game still doesn't work offline with a linked account, that is because it does online checks, there is a universal sysmodule to block/bypass some of those online checks, as well as game specific patches to do the same, but Linkalho doesn't do that. Often times, airplane mode is enough to get things working offline (being connected to a wifi confuses games when they are not able to connect)
What makes you think that fake linking requires an already linked account? The official readme at https://github.com/rdmrocha/linkalho certainly doesn't indicate that.
It also doesn't mention anything about fake linking doing anything different from a real account link to make stuff work offline that wouldn't with a real account link.
I've also never heard anyone else mention this on the forum.
