@godreborn No, I didn't do either of those things. Basically all I've done is followed the guide for installing Tiramisu normally, as well as installing the Homebrew Channel to vWii and a few cIOSes in empty slots. I didn't patch IOS 80 or anything.

EDIT: Tried changing DNS settings from auto-obtain to a public DNS, still won't download the update though. Same error code, 105-3015.

Telling we're brows through... Sure we talk a lot (sharing experience and stuff), just as all devs do. And yea, I see Gary as a good friend. Don't know if it's the same the other way around through (and I'm so freaked in RL, people tend to run away from me. Like Maschell doesn't reply to DMs anymore since a few days cause I told too much about my RL in a drunken mood... ).

I'm still getting the same error code (105-3015). Is there a way to install the update manually, or at least download it manually? The error code pops up before it really starts downloading, and I can't access any Nintendo Network ID features until it's updated.

I use Hacxi and did the update, nothing happened and everything continues to work normally.

Actually... I don't even know what exactly this update changes, at least the last one I noticed fixed the lag and crashes in the Netflix app, but this one I didn't notice any change or difference.

Ok, first this, how are you using Netflix on the WiiU, Netflix was cut off like over a year ago. Is there a way?


Second, I think I just discovered something else 5.5.5 changed.... maybe?

I had my console on 5.5.3 for like a year and a half or so after 5.5.5 came out. I had it DNS blocked and it showed the download for the update as failed in the Download Management thing. However, I was able to use the Youtube app and log on to the Nintendo Network just fine. Never had a problem with this failed update download in waiting, wasn't forced to download it.

However, this new 5.5.6 update came along (well after I updated to 5.5.5), it showed in Download Management as failed download, like normal, but my console suddenly would not allow me to do anything involving being logged in to Nintendo Network, it logged me out and wouldn't even let me open the Youtube app because it wouldn't log into the Nintendo Network. Instead, it said something like "you must update to log into the Nintendo Network". Forcing you to have to download and install the update, regardless if the update was DNS blocked.

As soon as I turned the console on, it had me logged out of Nintendo Network so it immediately popped up this message while trying to log into it as well.

Hi all:

I can't seem to get my console (NTSC) to get me the option to update, even though it'll spam me to update every time it loads the menu. Once I select "yes" to updating and get transferred to System Settings it merely says the system is up to date. Still running 5.5.5.

I'm running Tiramisu. I've heard all you need to do is disable autobooting, but I've held Start at boot and de-selected anything there and also held X and deselected "tiramisu." Neither of those have allowed me to update.

I've also used UFDiine in the past to delete the update folder. I recreated it with UFDiine.

Why am I not able to update?
