How to install Free McBoot to a PS2 memory card on a fat PS2

Hi, I borrowed my friends fat PS2 and want to install Free McBoot through it onto my memory card so that I could use it on my PS2 slim. My ps2 slim's dvd-rom doesn't read discs so that's why I am doing this. Can anyone help me install Free McBoot to a PS2 memory card on a fat PS2 ? I have my ulaunch elf disc burned, I have free mc boot files on my flash drive but the fat PS2 says it can not read the disc... What should I do ?

You need a way to run homebrew on the PS2 like an Action Replay or Codebreaker or GameShark that lets you load .elf files.

SOLVED!! http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/disc.php <= this method worked as a charm ! I borrowed friends chipped fat PS2 and used a method for the chipped ps2 to read the burned disc. I AM SO PUMPED FOR THE OLD SCHOOL STUFF I'LL PLAY !! Thanks all of you for the support
