Gaming interrogatives about customization issues in a permanent 6.xx PSP 3000 models

I got a PSP 3k,the one is a 3001 model bought a year ago that was with the Ratchet and Clank Bundle and National Treasure 2 UMD. went 5.01 to 5.03 GEN-B for over a a year now.

I was wondering to update from 5.03 GEN-B to 6.20 or 6.35 and enable permanent CFW to my system.

Is it really worth it to do so? And if so,will seplugins like cwcheat work on the permanent 6.xx permanents?

it's an TA-090 v2 motherboard, 1.0 Brite.

if your going to update to 6.xx make sure all your iso's,cso's and pops will run. there are versions of plugins like cwcheat for 6.20 but not sure for 6.35. but basically there really isnt much change in the firmwares. personally i would stick to your current fw just because of the compatibility

6.20 and 6.35 PRO-B5 are the same, except that 6.20 can be permanent while 6.35 cannot.

CMFusion and CWCheat work in it.

Your model can be perm'd.

IMO I would not do a perm. It is not worth a brick. Just install Hen or Pro (not Perm) and leave your PSP on Sleep mode. That's just me though. I'm cautious.
