Homebrew Unlaunch DSi | First public bootcode exploit for DSi

I personally can’t boot to the DSI menu. It gets stuck on the Unloader splash screen. If you press any buttons it says a error has occurred. An identical thing happened to another user with the exact same color DSi XL (the burgundy one) also on Unloader 1.7.

Homebrew DSi XL Stuck on Unlaunch Bootscreen

I installed Unlaunch with the instructions from the DSIGuide, and it is just stuck on the UnLaunch bootscreen. If I press any buttons it says a error has occurred. I saw someone with a similar problem, and oddly, we both have the same color DSI XL (the burgundy one). Please help me! I am really...

Homebrew Is it illegal to use the NW4C from dshack.org

People are kind of butt hurt here. They cared you used NW4C for making a 3DS banner? That's not their concern. Your lucky you have the know how to make it without NW4C. I know right lol.

Homebrew How do I build banners from a bcmdl and bcwav?

Title says it all, I am trying to build a BNR file from a bcmdl and bcwav, but I can't figure out how. I am willing to use CTR SDK tools because I have those. I needed them to make the bcwav file :P.

Question What is the meaning of GBATEMP's name?

Not surprising as they aren't too crazy about anti-piracy as long as there isn't a direct link or key to it. Kind of weird to think about though.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
