3DS firmware version 11.9.0-42 available

Nintendo has pushed out a new firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, 11.9.0-42. It's currently not known exactly what this update brings to the table, but as always, you might want to wait to see what scene developers say before updating your 3DS, if you want to keep using homebrew. The last update, 11.8.0.41, was released in July 2018, and managed to break multiple homebrew applications upon its initial release, so it's recommended to stay on your current firmware for the time being. As always, the patch notes are for the sake of stability.

  • Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

thank you but gateway is not dead yet and i prefer use it
so anyone can help me whith patch ?
It's pointless to continue using Gateway. There's no longer any support for it, so your best move would be to switch to Luma3DS CFW.
Plailect's 3DS Hacks Guide is the recommended guide for doing this.

It's dead, it's been dead. I looked around and it seems like no one has made an unofficial emuNAND, I even found your post begging on another site as I looked. You can download the system files that were updated and install them yourself, which I am not going to recommend if you don't know what you are doing. Seriously, Gateway3DS is not worth the hassle, the only thing it has left for it is .3DS ROM support. Just install a CFW and save yourself the hassle, there's no reason to keep using a dead cart when there are far better options

Not to mention .3ds roms can easily be converted to .cia

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage :rofl2:
