isn't a 300$ price point a very bad move for Nintendo.....

that is crazy expensive. thinking about adoption too. part of the Wii's success was its 250$ initial price point. there is no way it could be 300$ i don't believe that.

This may be off topic but one thing they didn't address in the conference is what's going to happen for DSi shop? Or maybe I missed it.

FYI - Japan is getting Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black colors for launch 3DS.

And to keine who is above me - If Nintendo is willing to priced 3DS at 25000 Yen then obviously they are 100% confident about this.

The Wii launched in Japan at 25,000 Yen. It came over to North America at a price of $249 USD, and $279 CAD. Nintendo wouldn't be stupid enough to sell a portable at the same price as consoles, so the 3DS will likely follow suit and fit snug in the $249 USD area.

I'm aware of that. I'll probably be paying $300 for the 3DS up here in British Columbia, Canada, thanks to our 12% sales tax. But the base price is likely as is with my guess ($249 USD). I would be surprised if the base price was set at $300 for North America.
