Has anyone gotten this specific Pro Controller for the Switch to work on the Switch? I tried everything I could think of but it will only work with the MayFlash Adapter... The seller swears up and down it works on the Switch but I just don't see it. It is wired BTW.

I have no experience with that controller but I assume it is just another 3rd party accessory that broke from the 5.0 update. The seller probably only tested it on older firmware.
If you haven't read the million reports online Switch firmware 5.0 broke compatibility with a lot of unlicensed 3rd party stuff including controllers, network adaptors, plus more with the worst results being docks and power supplies that can now literally brick the Switch.

Crap. That's what I get for updating my Switch. Hopefully, they'll fix these issues.

Thanks but I think I'll just purchase another MayFlash Adapter for the Switch because I really like the design of this controller, plus I can play my emulated games on PC with it.

Or get the real pro controller which also can be used on the PC

The seller I bought this controller from is sending me the wireless controller for free because this one doesn't work and can't be updated. I'll be able to update the wireless controller by connecting it to PC and updating the firmware on the controller. According to him, it should work with the Switch. I've got my fingers crossed!

I prefer these controllers over the official Pro Controllers because these are much cheaper, feels great in the hand, the buttons are clicky and high quality, and the design is nice.

PM me if you need the update file. It’s a pain in the ass to track down so I have it and the webpage for it saved

He sent me the file ahead of time but I'm not really sure how to use it. In his instructions, he says to press down on the left stick and then plug the controller into a USB slot and update firmware should be active. Does he mean press and hold the stick in any direction or press and hold down L3?
