I like some of the more tasteful doujin, and my informal japanese sucks way to much to translate doujin with any finesse. I can barely read some of them.

Anyways, GBATemp?????!
Have fun!

Sane males, they really exist? XP No for real, I've played Ragnarok Online for months with two guys who I met there who turned to two of my best friends in the end, the american one even came over to Germany to visit me for a few days (which was insane and awesome XD) and the other one, who lives in Germany now lives in my hometown and studies there coz I told him about the university there, too bad I moved away soon after, we still meet when I'm back home though! P But if I were a girl, I dunno. And I definitely wouldn't kiss a guy as a male. That kinda behavior sorta disturbs me. I mean, the whole "you do this and I'll do this for you" thing. Reminds me of Truth or Dare.

QUOTE(miruki @ Jun 12 2008, 06:25 PM)
But many girls you meet online aren't worth talking to either, there's just too many visual-kei and yaoi fandom out there that makes their brains go way too squishy to be able to talk with them about normal things.[/quote]
While true, like sane males there are also some decent females out there too. =P It's hard to find those people anymore, but at least if you look in places with perverse people as the majority, they'd tend to stand out. I think, anyway.

Point is, people have different behaviors online as opposed to in person, and you might find good friends for both online, you never know. I've really only visited a couple of people or they've visited me, and it went pretty well. But, I've had some pretty vicious fallings-out with people online so it's for the best that I never meet them face-to-face.

Yeah, really, like, Darling! from Mitsuru Yuuki.. or Yonekura Kengo's Pink Sniper Maniax. Oh but let me get this straight: I don't do the translating part, I do the text and image editing.. the lettering, the scanning. Just about everything else, currently I'm decensoring the Pink Sniper Maniax scans... lookies:

Before and after. Another example.

I didn't do the whole decensoring for Darling though... page 09 | page 10

My japanese sucks way too much to really read anything at all. XD
What's a tasteful Doujinshi to you? I mean, I like stuff with a good story (be it serious or more comical) and preferably female domination (*coughs*) but the art and lovely characters are what matters most to me.. uh I also like the shoujo'ish stuff like Darling.. especially if it's Harukanaru Toki no Naka de related!

Holy shit, you know of one of the few other characters I hate fighting in Melty Blood? It's surprisingly catching on.

Oh well, this whole GxG and BxB thing is a little different. Most girls just don't mind kissing another girl, there are exception, sure, but I can't really think of any girlfriend of mine who didn't kiss another girl just for fun once. For boys on the other hand kissing anothy boy is disturbing and disgusting, I can understand it somehow but really, if I were a boy I don't think I would mind. *shrugs* I don't see why girls get so hyped about seeing two boys kiss anyways, it's just two boys, kissing. wow. Same goes to two males getting excited over two females, I mean, I sure do get excited when I do the kissing, but the hell not when I just see it. oO

And.. sadly I am one of these ppl you can dare quite easily, a "You won't do it anyways.." is most of the time enough to get me to do it. I try to hide it, but quite a few ppl found out already and took advantage of that, boo.. ;__; But heck, I never did anything seriously weird, just silly things like.. oh let's just not talk about it, k? XD~
Yeah, agreed. Something weird with society or our mindsets or something. Guys hold their perceived sexuality very high and it's taboo to even waver a little bit, yet women can essentially be bisexual and no one would think twice. To guys, men can't be gay, but it's almost supported for women to be. I've yet to encounter a woman that's wanted two guys to kiss, but I'm sure they exist somewhere. And fully agreed about seeing two people of the same gender go at it. Voyeurism aside, it's almost always better to actually be involved in said action instead of watching other people do it. =P

Hahaha, I won't pry, I promise.
I'm honestly more vocal online than I am in person, as some of my online friends I've met before would say, I'm very quiet in person. I'm shy, and I rarely have much to say, but online you can't get me to shut up. Hell, I haven't made an exceptionally long post here before, but it's coming of course. =P I tend to interact with people I technically will be unable to meet normally, what with places attracting international attention, and I always seem to befriend those people furthest from me. XD There was one person I've managed to meet from online, and she ended up going to my school. Too bad that we get along so well now, she's going abroad for a year and I graduate before then...

Never been to an anime convention or the like, so I've honestly met a very few number of people from the net in person. Maybe...three. Yeah.

Sorry to keep spamming you with long-ass responses, like I said, I'm very talky online. If this were a conversation to be had in person, I'd probably say a lot less, and even now with good friends I have difficulty talking to people and making eye contact. I look into their eyes when they talk, but when I talk...no dice.
I didn't mean it like that, I just meant the quotes + our replies where just too much text. XD So I left out most of the quoting and do so again now. I have to rush my reply too, my little boy woke up and I have to take him to bed again, so:

I didn't spent too much time with Melty Blood, I've played it first on PC some years ago and then when the PS2 version came out I tried that... *takes a peek at the video games shelf* It's getting a little dusty already. ;_; My boyfriend doesn't really like 2D Beat em Ups, I love them. I'm totally into Guilty Gear. But I like playing against real opponents way better than against the CPU. So I don't really get many chances to play them. (Since all my friends just live either back in my hometown or study somewhere far away) Anyways, I never played the fan translated MB, but I took a peek at the Tsukihime trans, I just don't have too much time for it right now. ;_; I play many games in Japanese coz the ones I like just don't get released in english, like my beloved Otome games. ;_;

As you might have seen already I'm 22 myself, and a mother on top of that, so hanging out with 15y/o animu girls and boys just makes me feel really old. XD I've been in love with anime since 11 years, when I saw my first episode of Sailor Moon and my love has never faded once, I still love Sailor Moon too. XD
Eww, I didn't really like the DN live action movie, but isn't DN something more mature anyways, I don't think it's surprising to see older ppl there!

I noticed, recently, since I've been living a pretty lonely life since I moved together with my bf in crappy craptown I kinda started being unable to look ppl into the eyes too, that only applies to strangers, but still.. it annoys me, I feel like I'm becoming and social-cripple even though I'm usually very outgoing and open-minded... *sigh* I wish he finishes his studies soon!

Heheh, I know, I know, just teasing. ;P Hell, I wholeheartedly admit I'm long-winded online so it's no big deal, honest!

Yeah. I haven't played it in a long while myself, but this is after playing the hell out of it already. That and my piracy has easily taken up a lot of my time too...GG wasn't too bad, never got into it, and of course I'm the only person I know into those games. Now, stuff like Smash Brothers I do play with others, if because all of my guy friends are into it. Not a lot of games from there are released in English, which is especially sad for games like Soma Bringer and whatnot, good games that the Western market should try, but games like Tsukihime would never be released here at least. Considering how we have to save our children from the evils of the naked female form, a watered-down version probably wouldn't even pass. *roll eyes further* I have too much to say about this subject, another time perhaps.

Oooh, a mother? Congratulations! I think. Even though you've been for a while from the sounds of it. Yeah. Just...okay, moving on. I remember watching Sailor Moon way early in the morning at around 6:30 and then Dragon Ball at around 8am when I was little. This being back before anime really took off and the few anime shows that were actually translated and dubbed were few and far between. That was way long ago before it was popular...at least now there are a ton of shows in English, though with that comes a ton of kids turning into hardcore otakus. =\ The movie was better than I was expecting at least, but it drew enough people all right. I don't know how many theaters in the state were showing it, but the theater was fairly full. People in and a bit above my age range, so that was nice. Still wanted to Falcon Punch this one loud girl to my left though.

I kinda always have been that way. Looking someone in the eyes screws up my concentration when I talk, so I don't do it for long or often. Listening, it's no problem, but I just can't do it with some people. I might be backwards in regards to you, unsocial and social now, so it's kinda like I'm evolving in that sense. It's sad that you feel lonely though. I'm sorta in the same bind, since the time I'm at home, I very rarely see any friends...then again, considering my current work schedule I rarely get the chance to see people anyway. =\ I do what I can to keep in touch through Facebook and whatnot, but that's really it, and even then I keep in touch with a small number of people, so...yeah.

That's excactly why I don't like going to the cinema. .__. that and German dubs mostly suck, well actually they are good, but someone REALLY bright thought it would be an awesome idea to change Johnny Depps usualy voice actor to someone else for only the Pirates of the Carribean movies, who sounds ultra gay while his usual VA is TEH SEX. (I'm really into voices. When my bf and me watch tv I'm always like "Oh, that's the voice of [insert random character] and he goes "DAMN NOW I ALWAYS IMAGINE [insert random chracter]'S FACE WHEN HEARING THE VOICE!!! Ò____Ó" and then I laugh at him and tell him what character the next voice belongs to. :>

Oh yeah I'm a mother since about 2 1/2 years. And uh. We have this awesome Fantasy Film Festival in Germany once a year, they show all kinds of weird movies from different countries, many of them are Asian movies and some are Anime, I saw Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust once there, which was REALLY awesome! Everyone stood up and clapped after the movie was over, that was super cool. XD

I don't remember what else.. oh yeah, melty blood and nekkid women! But uh, isn't America like the only country that actually has companies translating Hentai Games? :> I'm still hoping that someday they'll release some games aimed at horny girls like me. XD There are so many great GxB pr0n games! *sigh*

I am so dead tired, but I'm waiting for my bf to return so I can go smoke without being paranoid of Vincent waking up.

Oddly enough, I never get that normally here. The only time is when people bring their little kids to the theater with them and then they never shut up. Yeah, good times there all right. But this one girl was excessively loud, could've heard her anywhere in the theater but I had to be two people away from her. I mean, yeah, it's funny but DO YOU HAVE TO LAUGH THAT LOUD?! Again, Falcon Punch. They showed the people who did the voices for DN and...yeah, it's always interesting to see VAs as they really look, since you can't help but wonder how they manage to get those voices out. Especially if they do more than one voice.

I see, nice. I'm naturally childless, among other things. Yeah, don't need to really say much else there. XD Ahem. We very rarely get many foreign films apart from stuff like at Sundance, but that's way in the West and none of that stuff ever reaches this far. I'm still surprised they were willing to release a two-night screening for live-action Death Note in this state of all places. Usually, the big corporate love is given to places like New York and California or whatnot, never one of the Corn Belt states! Can't complain of course, just that we don't get a lot out here. So of course, I have little experience with it all.

Actually, you might be right. I remember there being a review/walkthrough on a site about this Lightning Warrior Raidy game that was apparently officially released in English, despite the fact that games rated as AO by the ESRB can't really be sold anywhere. This is the basis of the Hot Coffee fiasco in GTA:SA. What gets me though is rated M = 17 and older, but AO = 18 and older. One year makes that big of a difference? But it's not like you can actually buy any AO games anyway, so why bother with the rating? I kinda wonder where exactly you'd go to buy a game like that, since it rules out everything but adult movie/book stores...We're a weird culture. We're so prudish about sex and stuff in the public eye, but we're probably more perverse than even Japan behind closed doors. What I mean is, we publicly condemn porn and smut in public (like with the game rating I talked about), but our sex industry is still big despite this. I remember reading somewhere that even with the public perversion that the Japanese are exposed to, the degree of sex crimes committed are way lower than in America, where we're so prudish and I guess it's almost taboo for someone to act out their sexual fantasies.

You really should go rest, you know. It's way late for you now, isn't it? =P
