This thread is dedicated to help all the new comers; who are having problems to apply cheat codes on their flash cart (especially R4 users).

For those who wish to help ~! please handle them with care

Introduction
It is important for all the new comers or newbies to know and learn how to use r4cce~! This is a tool that most of us are using it to edit our own database.
It is easy to learn and convinient to use

a) Please refer to Curley's tutorial on r4cce

b) you can obtain a copy of r4cce from http://home.usay.jp/pc/soft.htm

c) "I also suggest using YSMenu a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats."

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: I got my cheat codes working for Soma Bringer or Sonic before i patch, but is not working now.
A: Use r4cce to check whether the GAME ID is the same as the one in the cheat database. Change accordingly if it is different.

Q2: I got a PATCHED / FIXED version of a game. The cheat won't show up even it is in the database.
A: Use r4cce to check whether the GAME ID is the same as the one in the cheat database. Change accordingly if it is different.

Q3: How to check GAME ID
A: Click Add Game and you will the game ID is something like ABCJ 12345678 and then click . . . located next in between the GAME ID column and DUP? button.
Choose the game which you want to find out the GAME ID ~
After Choosing it Click OPEN
The GAME ID of the game will then changed and display on the GAME ID column

Q4: You don't have this game or that game on the cheat database.
A: Please refer to the game list --> http://cheats.gbatemp.net/GameList.txt://h...et/GameList.txt

Q5: a) Games like Soma Bringer, Trauma Centre, TWEWY and Yugioh used to be in the cheat database but after the recent update it went missing.
b) Narin why did you remove Soma Bringer after the recent update.
A: First of all, Narin would not remove any game cheats. Unless the cheats works on WIFI
A: IF you are R4 and it clones user, please refer to http://cheats.gbatemp.net/#notice://http:/...emp.net/#notice
A: It could also be you had a PATCHED / FIXED version of the game~! refer to Q1 and Q2

Q6: Games like Soma Bringer, TWEWY, Yoshi Island, Zoo Tycoon is in the database but it won't show up on my R4.
A: This is due to a bug in R4 and its clone, please refer to http://cheats.gbatemp.net/#notice

Q7: How do i move the game up by using r4cce?
A: Just drag it up with mouse
A: Click on the game, press the Up button
A: Item Menu - Move Item Up

Q8: How do i get Yasumenu to work on R4DS?
A: get a copy of Yasumenu
A: backup your save and game
A: delete everything/format micro SD card
A: replace with the downloaded Yasumenu and backup save and game

Alrighty, whoever sees this Im going to create a guide on frequently asked questions about cheats.. If you wish to help, post some stuff here or PM me about it if you think its useful and should be in the guide.. Any help is appreciated..
