Hardware A way the 3d part of 3ds might look like

Nothing special BUT

on a game (intro) or the dsi home screen
bend your ds/i to a 70 degree spot and look at the top screen on and angle you could see its kind of like 3d
might not work for some people, i dont know how
this is on dsi and screen protectors on
(yes the text.. etc will be upside-down but this is just a way it could look)

Exactly.
And I have no idea which angle to look from.

turn the sceen to a 90 degree angle, then go down about 15 degrees with the screen, you should kind of see weird colours and sortof a 3D effect.

I'm assuming it's going to use gyroscopic motions or eye tracking to give a "3D-like" effect, like gazing into a world through a picture frame.

A LOT like the Wii head tracking video on youtube.

this summer we are getting the sequel...

See that's what I said in another thread that the 3D will be visible only from a particular angle.

Image slightly distorted on the lite. It doesn't get the semi-3d the DSI gets

Well at least you could see 2 layers and top of each other . But still the best way to see this if one of the screens is moving to create more of an effect oh yeah now that i think about it it would help if you had a protecting screen. Tjats why maybe some people can't see it
